Question about Dryers
Will not turn on. No lights are lighting when I hit the switch to start. Breaker box is not tripped. It is plugged in. Is there an onboard breaker somewhere in the dryer? Thanks, Jim Deal

Your dryer has a non-resettable "thermal safety fuse" part number 3392519 which stops the machine dead when the temperature near the heater gets too high. Typically a restricted vent system causes this so you definitely want to check that before replacing it. A failed control thermostat can also cause this so check the operating temp too.

First off, be sure the pigtail is wired correctly to the back of the unit. Black and red to the outside terminals, white to the middle, green to the frame or cabinet (should be a green screw close-by). If that is ok, you probably have an issue with possibly a bad pigtail, bad outlet, wiring issue, or possibly a bad circuit breaker or breaker box. Probably going to be more of a electrical problem than a appliance problem. Good Luck!!!!

Regarding model LER5644EQ2, here is a link to a parts website complete with an assembly drawing and parts list. In all probability, you have a blown thermal fuse and that will need replacing http://www.pcappliancerepair.com/model-display.php
Item #23 on the drawing .. a quick test would be to ( with power removed or disabled) measure the resistance across the two terminals and it should not be an open circuit or it is blown. The drawing shows exactly where it is and the parts list shows the item number/ cost and where to buy a replacement. Hope this helps..
Regarding model number is YLEQ5000PW1, you may have the same problem with your thermal fuse.. the parts website does not show a detailed darwing of your model but it should be similar to the other one I've cited in the location and thermal fuse.. The link I am sending is for the parts list for your washer and the thermal fuse.. http://www.pcappliancerepair.com/model-display.php
Let me know if that isn't the problem and we can look at other ways to zero in on a solution..
Hope this helps...

1) Turn off the breaker to the machine.
2) Wait 30 seconds and then turn it back on.
3) All the lights will be flashing. At this point turn the dial to "rinse only" and then press "Heat dry" and "Start/Cancel" at the same time.
4) The Machine will go into maintenance mode going through all the cycles quickly.
5) After this is finished the problem should be solved.

SOURCE: hunter ceiling fan model #23457
I have the same problem but it does not trip the main circuit breaker, just the fans internal power safety trigger (the light comes on as if power was interupted). I suspect a bad relay on the receiver board. Before breaking completely, the fan reverse-direction button quit working. Then the fan would not start intermittently. Now it clicks but does not spin. The light has always worked.
The part number for the receiver board on this model is Remote: Receiver 85112-02-000. I've tried to find a website where I could just order the part but no luck yet. Probably best to call Hunters Service Center Locator at: (800) 448-6837. A discount part house may also have the part.
Good luck with your fan problem. Hunter should send us free replacement boards!
