Okay, the driver for WiFi (hal.dll) needs to be reinstalled.

Do the following:

Press the windows key and R
Type in command
In the command prompt that comes up:
Type in cd C:\Windows\System32\
Type in taskkill /f /im "hal.dll"
Type in del hal.dll
Then restart your computer

What taskkill does is kill the WiFi application that is using the driver so you can delete it. After your system restarts, Windows will automatically reinstall the WiFi driver, and the problem will be fixed!

I did a factoy reset on my tablet n now I cant connect to internet

As it is a tablet, and because you performed a factory reset, this will cause the tablet to no longer remember that it was once connected to your wireless router.

You will need to re enter your pass phrase for your wireless network back into your tablet,

I don't know the pass phrase for the U920T Toshiba ultra notebook. It is asking for one once I switch the power on.

If you purchased this new It wanted you to sign in with your Hotmail e mail & password. If you did not you must contact the last owner for his. Then sometimes you can recover your laptop the laptop (or refresh) in the usual Windows 8 8.1 way & remove the password.

Wiil not connect to wireless internet it says limmited acess

i assume you are near the router ? if so, make sure the router is sitting up on a desk and not on the floor : keep close distance and ensure the antenna(s) are up . If the signal strength is normal (coming from the router), try resetting the router by unplugging power and wait 1 minute before plugging back in. Make sure the router has appropriate signal strength by checking the ethernet cables (make sure there are no cuts or bad bends or severed connections. try changing all cables. if the router has one antenna, you may have to get one with antennas to allow boosted signal. make sure the pass phrase is correct with upper or lower case alphanumeric code.

Ok, it sounds like you don't have an e-mail address. You can get free e-mail a Yahoo, Hotmail and AOL at least. However if you sign back on here via a Web browser I believe it will display your question and my answer(s).

1) Take your SN to a public Wifi access location that does not have secure access or need a pass-phrase. eg. McDonald's or your local public library.

2) Follow the short startup guide on connecting to Wifi. You can also review the steps to connect via Wifi at the website.

3) Assuming it works in a non-secure environment if it still doesn't work at home then the problem is related to your home wifi setup. A very common problem is to not know/remember exactly what the "pass phrase" is. If you don't, you may have to re-set your wifi pass phrase on your router and change all the Wifi users pass phrases.

The Sylvania Netbook sound system is VERY soft. So you might simply not be able to hear it or it could be muted or the volume turned down. You can check this by double left clicking on the "speaker" on the lower right hand side of the screen on the taskbar. Make sure the "mute" box is un-checked and the lever is pushed to the top right under the word "Volume".

Cam connect

Try connecting to Wifi at a public access/non-secure location. Use the quick start guide procedures or goto where they have a step-by-step and even a video demonstration.

If you can connect at a non-secure Wifi location then there is a good chance you don't remember the pass-phrase exactly right on your home wifi. You will have to change the pass-phrase on your home router and then change all the systems using it.

Require security key or pass phrase

if you need a password, and the computer won't let you log on, you'll have to reinstall windows from a disc in order to wipe the old information off, if this is even possible in Windows 7.
