Reasonably priced replacement parts?

Is there a place in the universe that will sell a replacement cash drawer for a Sharp XE-A21s,201,202,203 registers for less money than the whole friggin machine costs? Or better yet is there a repair kit for the infamous breaking rear drawer catch so common with these models?
I have 6 machines that have broken drawers and most places are trying to charge over 150 geeters for a drawer.
If some braniac out there comes up with a latch repair kit for these models....they can be a rich braniac. I have removed the plastic housing on one to experiment but can't seem to rig together a functioning replacement contraption. Any ideas?

Hello I am a Sharp Techinical Service Representative. We have parts distributors that would be able to sell the parts you are looking for [drawers] however I am not entirely sure of what the price would be. Depending on where you are in the country we would be able to decide which would be closest to you. There are only 4 across the nation. 1 in california, Andrews Electronics [(800) 274-4666], 1 in Ohio, Fox International [(800) 321-6993], 1 in Florida, Tritronics [(800) 365-8030], and 1 in Maryland, Encompass [(800) 638-3328]. Please note that these are companies that access our warehouses, and don't normally accept walkins if you are in the vincinety of one.
