Thanks for your suggestion. I am surprised, that Mountain Buggy does only frame+weels etc. parts...basicly everythig but canvas seats, liners, and hoods. Also i haven't bought from them directly and therefore haven't got warrranty. The odel I have got is quite old and probably discontinued, but i have compared pictures with the 2008 model, and there isn't much difference.I wish I knew who deals with the fabrics for MB :(

    Hello,
Could you please tell me what company makes canvas seats and hood/sun canopy for Mountain Buggy. I don't think it's MB itself,as they only offer other bits like frame, wheels, handlebar, brakes and etc.. I have a single terrain Mountain Buggy model in navy colour (with no hood) from eBay. I would be grateful if you et me know the name of the company.

    Kind regards

    Adriana

    thank you

Hi Adriana,

Mountain Buggy are only built and distributed by Mountain Buggy ®.

Unless you want to find second hand parts on Ebay or similar, the best option if you want to purchase an original replacement hood is contacting them or asking to an authorized distributor.

Good morning and welcome to fixya
not sure if this helps you out or not but you could go by your local upholestry shop and talk to them, some times you can have good luck and come out cheaper then a new one. custom car shops often use other really good upholestry shops that could do this for you. you may even be able to get a really cool looking one. good luck

Lost wheel nut

Hello. I see that you are in the UK. Here are two possibilities to solve your problem.
1. Order the part from the manufacturer at http://www.mountainbuggystrollers.com/parts.cp
2. Take your stroller to a local hardware store where they will be able to match the nut with one from their stock. Even if you have to go with a metal replacement, you will still have the use of your stroller. Also consider a product called Thread-Lock or Loc-tite which is an adhesive paste in a tube which you apply to the threads to keep the nut secure.

Have you managed to fit the carrycot already

Hi,

If this is the same as the UK model then you should make sure that you remove the hood of the pram (not the carrycot hood) as this makes life so much easier. You could contact www.mountainbuggy.com so that they can send you a manual.
When you attach the carrycot, there should be a clip either side of this to attach to the chassis, these clips snap shut when aligned correctly with the chassis.

I hope this helps.

Urban mountain buggy double stroller

Hi,

THe Mountain Buggy is very simple to fold. Level with the footrest, there is a black plastic button (either side), these simply push toward the back of the pram and hey presto! The pram will collapse. To make this as small as possible, keep the front two heels on swivel so that they tuck neatly underneath and the handle bar adjusted to the lowest position.

See this link to help a little more.

I hope this helps.
