Bios update file

You must go to the original manufactures web site and in their support section type the Mod. Number of your Computer or motherboard. When you get to Option for that hardware, slelect the udated BIOS version. Caution...do not stop or tuen off the computer when udating BIOS as any interruption will clear the memory and you will never access the hardware ever again. If you are technical savy, do not try this venture.

Hello

To update the BIOS on the IBM 300GL PC, you will need to go to the Lenovo web site to get the latest update and install instructions.

http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?&LegacyDocID=MIGR-4HAMXK

This will get you to the instruction and download page for your PC.

I upgraded my lg-r590 bios and the systems hung. the screen goes blank.

Was the BIOS udate from the LG site? Never alter the BIOS unless it's from the manufacturer's website. If it was from the maker's website, follow instructions VERY carefully. If you do not have a problem, that a BIOS update can solve, it would be best to leave it alone. I have never had a problem with a BIOS update, but this website is "littered" with BIOS updates gone bad. GOOD LUCK : http://techtips.salon.com/reset-hp-laptop-bios-password-1476.html

How do I download latest Driver when my Security System stops it?

Log on as administrator and modify the security such that it will alloew search and installation of updated drivers. Also if the BIOS has a supervisor password it needs to be removed in the BIOS by changing the supervisor password by entering blanks(spacebar) and change the password. After that as Administrator you can enable udating the drivers..................................sodeep

Hi rnb brother,

It sounds like you may need to udate you BIOS. It may be a memory allocation issue. This is an issue when the accessed/pointed memory allocation does not totally close, allowing a little bit of info out to disrupt normal operation. BIOS is closely related to access/pointed memory allocation and upon udating will close this path competely. I hope this helped a little, if not, hit me back, we have other options i.e. running dual cards.

Thank you for using FixYa.com
