Try one of these keys:
F1,F2 or DEL keys at the point of you booking your system up. not at the same time, try f1 first, than F2, and than DEL. that should recover your BIO setup screen.
enjoy

Bios don't open

BIOS is a software program that controls basic functions in your computer, such as boot order, keyboard control and how your processor interacts with memory cards. If you get an "NTLDR Is Missing" error, inspect your BIOS utility to make sure your computer is booting up from the right place.
During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup
Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS
after you make any changes in BIOS press Esc then press the F10 button save to cmos to restart
cmos is located in BIOS
hope this helps

No repeat rate for keys. How to fix it when control panel doesn't?

Seems to me that if i remember right you do this in the bios. The keyboard is the one device that has to be setup from the bios or else needs drivers setup for it. Reboot your computer and then go into the bios, hunt in there and you should find the keyboard setting to change it. Hope this helps

Lost files

I have got the same problem where I lost everything. The computer does not boot all the time especaily when it is cold. Once started it seems to work ok. Save some dinero, I thought it was the hard drive so I bought another one and guess what, it didn't fix the problem. I tried all the updates, even the BIOS update and it doesn't work. One thin I noticed, when I go to the BIOS, it doesn't have my DVD rom drive on it for some reason. Seems to disappear. I contacted Acer tech support and they said I got a hardware issue but would not go any further than that.
