If you already have a wireless setup the latop (if it has wireless) will pick up the wireless router (if security on the wireless network, just type in the security password). Type 192.168.1.1 into your browser to access the routers configuration page.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I am trying to add a wireless connection to another laptop we own but apparently cannot access www.linksysfix.com/ela

Its not necessary to access linksys.com Your new laptop if has wireless card will read network automatically and connect with password if you set up for your router. If no password set up then your laptop should be online as soon as its powered on!
Most router problems can resolved by power cycle.
Check if your laptop new has wireless card and is enabled!

I would try to connect to the linksys administration console by entering 192.168.1.245 or if that does not work, try 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.100.

Hope this helps

I'm trying to add a new laptop to my home wireless network using my Linksys WRT54G router. The wireless setup program has taken me as far as hooking the laptop to the router and accessing the web page...

See: http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/wireless/lbc/WRT54G on the side it will ask you for information, then you can down load the system. It also gives you step by stem setup instructions.

You're not alone with this issue - the page is not working now:
http://www.fixya.com/support/t1339082-linksysfix

While I'm not familiar with ELA, Linksys' own site has support pages for LELA, Linksys Easy Link Advisor: and you can download EasyLink software from this page, which is intended to help automate setup. Your model is listed there. I hope this is what you are looking for and/or will be of help to you.

The site is down and has been for over a month now. No one at Linksys will say why; instead, they point you here, to download the Easylink setup software:

http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_CASupport_C1&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1166859678292&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper&lid=7829277881L10

Hopefully that software will help you setup whatever you need. If not... I can answer most any networking "how to" questions you might have - just let me know.

Cheers
Nick
