Question about Canon PIXMA MP780 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Where is this? I cannot find it.
The waste ink pads are in the base of the printer and are very difficult to reach in the MP780...
Printers like the iP4000 that are not multifunctional are relatively easy to take apart for replacing or cleaning these pads but multifunction printers like the MP780 are very, very difficult because of all the logic boards, electronics and wires that need to be removed to reach the pads.
I would recommend getting the printer serviced at a Canon service center, it's just too big a job for someone without a lot of technical training.
