Question about Motorola Cell Phones

1 Answer

None of the buttons work. They just quit! The phone can turn on but it switches to the VOLUMNE screen right away, which is now at the loudest, and I can't get off that screen without turning off the phone!! I can receive calls and text messages but can't use any buttons to see them. This phone has just come off warranty - of course!

It's not the keypad. It's a ROKR phone and I don't know what that round button on the front is, but that's the problem. Doesn't matter what I press, it doesn't work. Actually, one time if worked and the screen just scrolled and scrolled and scrolled until I shut it off!

    Thanks for your help anyway.

ok no problem. if its working fine now then leave it like that until issue comes again.
ROKR is a diifferent terminology as compare to normal one. so u have to operate it softly. dont push hard the button

How do i increase the earpiece volume of my nokia 1661-2b? i am having problems hearing people when i call or they call...cannot find an earpiece volume.

hi, i take it the phone you have got is the one in the picture, well all you need to do is make a call so call your answering service or some free number then once the call is connected take the phone away from you ear but leave the call going ok, now you see the silver square well all you need to do is either press the up button or press the right button, you can only turn the sound up and down whilst on a call, you cant turn it up and down if your not on a call thats why i said call a number that you done need to talk to anyone then that way you can take the phone away from your ear and then press the buttons,, when you press either the up button or the right button on the silver square part you should see the volumne bar come on the screen and you can then turn it up or down.

i hope you understand what i am saying to you.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

please can you rate this solution as i have pages of unrated posts, thanks

Have the button replaced, it is pressing itself all the time, turn it off, then try to move, if its stuck, destuck it, if not, for quick relief, disconect it

Need to adjust incoming calls volumne up

most phones only allow you to increase/decrease volume of earpiece whilst your in a call. Whilst making a call the buttons on side of phone (up/down) should allow you to adjust volume. Sometimes these buttons also allow adjustment of ringer volume when not in a call. Hope that helps?

My Iphone's screen won't turn on but still vibrates

I had the same problem just now with my iPhone 3G. It froze for like an hour and a half! I heard calls come in but wasn't able to answer because the screen wouldnt come up. I pressed the top clicker button and the main button for about 10 seconds and the apple logo came up (finallyyy). It took about another minute and then the screen came back up and prompted me for my passcode. I hope this can help you all!

Volumne increase for 6030 B

We figured it out~
While talking to someone, press the arrow button that points to the right.
We kept pressing the up button, to no avail, as that would have made much more sense to me.
