There is no error code, then check the following:
1)Check that the problem is not overflow.. Remove the lower access panels and check the tray under the dishwasher. If you find it is full of water use a cloth to dry water. Test the overfill switch.
2) Disconnect power, move the appliance forward and check that the drain and inlet hose is OK. Be sure that the machine is filling. THE DRAIN HOSE MUST RUN UP TO THE TOP OF THE UNDERSIDE OF THE COUNTERTOP THEN DOWN TO THE DRAIN. If the hose is not set up like this, water from the sink drain will flow into the dishwasher and overfill the tray.
3) Test the door lock. This can be tested jumping its contacts.
4) If all the rest is OK you may have a defective control module. This is not a common fault. Ensure that all the rest is OK first, wiring and pump motor must be tested before going for control module.
Start checking for overfill, that is a very common fault that may cause cycle not starting
If you want to contact a technician use the number listed on the USE AND CARE GUIDE.

It is possible that themachine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or feedback fromthe inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller mustinitiate the INLET/PUMP MOTOR/DRAIN to workwhen it is commanded .If this does not happen then the voltage at thesepoints must be checked or the faultrelates to no voltage/drive from the controller. This means the controller is asuspect.Check howto remove the control panel: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/dishwashers/a/3/1287/how-to-replace-a-hotpoint-dishwasher-fascia-p.html If thewater flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or thereis dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. Whatis most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switchmust be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting themotor. The water pressure must be good and the spraying must be seen to begood. If there is low pumping or pressure then the spray arms will not turnaround to inject with pressure. If sothe pump must be checked for clogging. To replacecheck this link:http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/dishwashers/a/3/1293/how-to-replace-the-spraying-system-on-a-dishw.html Finallyafter the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to comein to rinse and then finally the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain offall the water.Make surethat a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so checkthe command from the program module and then the executing device be it thevalve or motor or pump.
