Samsung3 my camera does not show my pictures that I have taken. It shows a lightening bolt and a blank head. What is this?

What the icon is actually trying to show you is that the pictures are "broken". The camera cannot read the file on your card. Try removing your card and reinserting it then see if you can access the pictures. If not try removing the card and putting it into your PC card reader, using an adapter if you must. See if the PC can read the files. If it can, save the files to the PC. After the files are saved, format the card. If formatting the card does not work it is probably defective. If you can't read the files using the PC card reader, try formatting the card anyway and then test it with your camera. If it continues to show you the broken picture icon, buy a new car. I use Sandisk cards and have never had a problem with one. I have had an occasional trouble with card readers and re-inserting the card once or twice allowed the card to be read.

Canon sd card can,t read

Remove the card and clean the contacts then re-insert checking first that you have not accidently locked the card. If that doesn't work try re-formatting.

After recharging my Fuji Finepix v10 it will not read the xd card. The camera is showing a card read error. I have tried to power down and power up and removing & reinserting the card. For a few...

1 of two possibilities, card or camera problem.

1) Have you got or have access to another XD card? If so try it. Does it work OK. If yes, its a card issue, if not, then a camera problem. If you can't borrow one, buy a low capacity card, cheaper, and try that. Its always handy to have a spare anyway.

2) Hoping that is a card problem (Cheaper to resolve) give the card contacts a polish and give the card slot a blow to remove any dust there may be. Re-insert the card and re-format it using the camera menu. Note that this will remove any data stored on the card.

3) If a second card doesn't work and so proves to be a camera problem, them my final suggestion is that you go to the Fuji website, follow links for support, check forums for similar problems or, see ig there's a firmware upgrade available for you camera on the "Downloads" page.

What does read error mean and how to correct it?And get the pictures it seems to have misplaced.

Rhonda, You should remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into the card reader of the PC and move all pics to the PC. Then insert the card back into the camera and format it with the camera. Then whatever pics you take will be saved to the camera and be read by it too. Now for some reason the camera can not read the card. And if you want to use it then the camera should be able to read it. To do that you must first move the pics to some other place and once the pics are safe then the card can be forgotten.

Sd card cannot be read & internal memory of camera cannot be read

Which Kodak camera model?
It may not support a large SD (SDHC) memory card.
Remove the card and remove the batteries.
Turn ON the camera (I know, no batteries) for one minute.
Turn OFF camera and install batteries.
Do not insert the memory card.
Does the internal memory work?
If so, insert memory card.

If it's ok to format the card, do so.
If not, then use a USB adapter and copy the memory card to your [My Pictures] folder.
Format memory card.

Camera reading memory card error, cannot get it to work. Tried removeing the card and replacing batteries. Checked and it is not locked.

try formatting the card once on a pc and then plug it in your camera....if that does not help either, you'll have to try a different card.

"Memory card cannot be read"

My camera used to do the same thing--once I got the pictures off my card, I left it in the card reader, right clicked on removable media (my computer + removable storage) chose to "format" and formatted it on my computer. It seems to have fixed the problem, and my camera now reads it fine. I tried to format it on the camera before, but it didnt work.
