How do you turn on wifi for dell latitude d610

There is not wireless switch on this model. To turn on your wireless you will need to hold down FN + F2. If this does not turn on your wireless its most probably disabled in the Bios. To enable it, press the F2 key at the Dell Logo on startup, move down to wireless, press enter and move to wireless control, make sure its set to Fn+F2/App, then move down to wireless devices and make sure it set to on. Press Esc, and save changes and exit.

Wireless capability Switch is off on dell vostro 1400.Is there another way to turn on switch.

There are three ways to toggle the wireless switch on/off, 1st, Fn + wireless button (F2 or F5), 2nd, the wireless switch on the side of the laptop, 3rd, it can be enabled or disabled under BIOS setup (Tap F2 when turned on the laptop).

I have a Lenova R61 laptop. Can you please tell me how to enable a wireless connection i.e where is the wireless switch??

Hi. Here is a diagram of your laptop. It looks like your wireless switch is turned on by hitting a combination of two keyboard buttons. The Fn key and the F2 key. Locate the Fn (function) key, and locate the F2 key. Then press the Fn key and hold it down. Then press the F2 key and it should cycle back to on. If that does not work. Click on start, my computer, on the left, my network places, view network connections. Double click on your wireless connection, and it should enable it if it is disabled.
Thanks for using Fixya!

Where is the location of the wireless switch on Gateway mx6453?

Hi There,

Your notebook does not have a physical wireless switch. However, holding down the fn key (lower left of keyboard) and pressing the F2 key will turn your wireless on and off. Below is the link to your online Manual.

My wireless stop working cable works it was saying turn on a switch but it doesn't have one mx8711 laptop vista try drivers from gateway

Here is a link to the gateway documentation. There is a notebook reference guide explaining the operation of the computer. One section talks about the network radio and how to turn it on and off by using the Fn and F2 keys. You should see a light go on and off as you repeatedly press those two keys (hold fn down and then press F2). That may solve your problem. If not there are several manuals on that page which should help you out.

Acer aspire lost internet connection how do i connect

Look on the Function keys on the keyboard (the F1 through F12 keys) Do you see a wireless icon on one of the keys? If you do, then look for a Function (Fn) key on the keyboard. Press and hold Fn, while holding Fn, press the funtion key with the wireless icon (example: the wireless icon is on the F2 key; press and hold the Fn key, while holding the Fn key, press F2, release both keys).
