Resseting the Clock, I had to cut the battery cables and rewire them, bu i dont know how to reset the clock

Keep pressing the knob that you use to adjust bass, treble, fade, ect, keep going, you will get to clock. Next one after clock is set the clock. Then you have to be quick about it, turn that same knob to increase or decrease the hour, then it will move to minutes and turn till you get the right minutes.
You really have to be quick about it, it took me several times before I got it completed.

This is for the DEH-6800MP

Press function repeatedly until "clock" appears in the display.
Pressing will select hours or minuets segments on the display
Hour - minute
As you select segments of the clock, they will blink.
Press up or down buttons to change hours or minutes as selected above.

If that doesno't work, this should

Turn on your car ignition. Turn your car stereo "OFF".

  • 2 Press and hold the "MULTI-CONTROL" button (looks like a round dial) for a few seconds until the display pop up. Rotate the "MULTI-CONTROL" button until it says "CLOCK." If you have an older model without a "MULTI-CONTROL" button, press and hold the "FUNCTION" or "AUDIO" button until the display pops up, then immediately release the button. Press the "FUNCTION" or "AUDIO" button again until the display reads "CLOCK."

  • 3 Push the "MULTI-CONTROL" button upward and downward to adjust the hours and minutes. For older models, first press the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to adjust the hours. Use the "LEFT" and "RIGHT" arrows to move to the minutes, then press the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to adjust the minutes.

  • 4 Press the "ESCAPE" or "SOURCE" button to exit.

  • In case of a problem or clarification or my solution was insufficient, don't hesitate to post me a reply.
