If your mouse isn't acting funny while using it in any other applications, you can either try uninstalling internet explorer and reinstalling it, or try using different browser such as Firefox

Internet explorer freezes

Hi!

Internet Explorer is probably one of the least stable web browsers available. You best solution would be to download and use another.
Firefox is a great option. It also allows you to keep your bookmarks and settings from Internet Explorer.
Download Firefox Free Web Browser
Chrome is also another great option.
Get fast free web browser

Either option will work on your current system. And provide much more functionality, speed, stability, options and more.

Good luck!

Set homepagegoogle

If you use Internet Explorer, go to your current Home Page. In the message bar top right there is a 'Down Arrow' on the right.. Click on the down arrow and one of the Options is 'Find More Providers'
Select that and you will get an MSN page with umpteen choices, including Google, which you can select.
The Down Arrow may already list Google, in which case Select it as 'Main Provider'
Or you can forget Internet Explorer and use it to go to Google page, and select Google Chrome for your Search Engine
Come back here if there is still a problem.

Set homepage

If your question is .... how to make google.com as your home page on your browser ... here's how:

If you're using Internet Explorer browser, click on theTools (menu item) ... and at the bottom of the drop-down window, click on "Internet Options". A (smaller) window will open, showing under the General (tab) ... your current home page. Simply edit (or add) into that (top HOME PAGE) window,www.google.com then, click on APPLY at the bottom right corner.

Now when you open your Internet Explorer (browser), it will go directly to google.com.

If you use the Mozilla Firefox browser, you'll want to click on the "Tools" menu item. A (smaller) "OPTIONS" window will open. Click on "General" and you will see the (current) STARUP Home Page URL address. Simply add/replace that with www.google.com and click on OK.
Now when you open your Mozilla Firefox (browser), it will go directly to google.com.

This is assuming that you are using Internet Explorer. If you are using a different web browser it might be slightly different.

Somebody installed windows live on my computer i now have msn as my desk top i want to go back to google classic

Hi. I am assuming you are talking about the page that Internet Explorer goes to when you first open it. If that is the case, try this:

Windows Vista (all versions)

1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button getopencontent.aspx?assetid=4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33&documentset=en-us&renderkey=xml, and then clicking Internet Explorer.
2. Navigate to the webpage you would like to set as the home page.
3. Click the arrow to the right of the Home button getopencontent.aspx?assetid=4aa01e82-2732-4ac7-b246-a06c904f2c2c&documentset=en-us&renderkey=xml, and then click Add or Change home page.
In the Add or Change Home Page dialog box, do one of the following:
• To make the current webpage your only home page, click Use this webpage as your only home page.
• 4. To start a home page tab set or to add the current webpage to your set of home page tabs, click Add this webpage to your home page tabs.
• To replace your existing home page or home page tab set with the webpages you currently have open, click Use the current tab set as your home page. This option will only be available if you have more than one tab open in Internet Explorer.
5. Click Yes to save your changes.

Windows XP (all versions)

1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Programs or All Programs, and clicking Internet Explorer.
2. Navigate to the webpage you would like to set as the home page.
3. On the pull-down menus at the top of the window, click the Tools menu and choose Internet Options (if the Tools is not showing at the top of the page, you can access it using the Tools pull-down menu located on the right side of the window).
4. To make the current webpage your home page, click the “Use Current” button.
5. Click OK to save your changes.

Hope this helps!

Hello,
Go to control panel and open Internet Options. The first page that pops up will have a section that says Home Page. Type your home page that you want (e.g. http://www.google.com) and click APPLY and then click OK.
Thank you ,

Where?

Hey dluvssue,

For most versions of Windows, you should be able to find your Internet Explorer settings by clicking on the "Tools" menu on the top of any internet window pane and choosing "Internet Options" from the drop-down menu that appears. Scrolling however, is generally treated as a function of your computer's mouse and not the internet browser. To find and update your mouse settings, you'll probably want to use the path provided below:

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Mouse

Once in this menu, you should be able to select the sensitivity and scroll settings for your mouse.

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron
