Can you adjust the pressure setting on a Davey Torrium T45 pump to reduce the power of water when taps are turned on?

No. The pressure can only be adjusted at the expansion tank and pressure switch. Keep in mind that your tank pressure needs to be 2 lbs lower than your cut-in pressure. The pressure in your tank can be bled off at the schrader valve(tire valve) at the top of the tank. You MUST adjust both the tank AND the press switch.

Adjusting high and low water pressure

If you've noticed the water pressure in your home is either too high or too low, you may need to adjust your water pressure regulator. Water pressure is measured in "psi" (pounds per square inch) and should be set between 50-60psi for home use. Anything greater than 60psi can damage residential water lines and appliances. Not all homes have a water pressure regulator installed, but if you have one and can locate it, all you need is a few tools to begin adjusting your best pressure washer

Motor cuts off before reaching 125 psi

Im guessing this is a recip (piston Compressor) Sounds like your pressure switch may have adjusted itself by vibration. Take the cover off the pressure switch, there should be 1 or 2 screws on the top, one adjusts the pressure, the other adjusts the differential pressure (There may just be one) turn the pressure screw in the direction of the +, you need to do trial and error on this, turn it 1/4 of a turn, then switch on, see what the pressure gets to, then switch off, drain some air off, then adjust as necessary until you get your required pressure. Hope that helps

I need to know how to adjust pressure at water pressure regulator

Loosen the stem retaining nut with an adjustable wench. Open a faucet or two and let the water run while adjusting the pressure regulator. Turn the valve's stem counterclockwise to increase the pressure and clockwise to decease. Tighten the retaining nut when you are satisfied with the water pressure.

Low pressure and pump pressure adjuster makes no difference

Replace the pressure adjuster and everything will work. When you lose pressure and the adjuster is not adjusting to allow more or less then you need to replace it. It has a valve in there that is most likely broken and the valve is not opening and closing anymore.

I have an air mate air compressor by emqlo and need to know how to adjust the air pressure

Your power cord should go into a plastic box (the pressure switch). Your on/off switch is probably on the same box. Unplug the unit, remove the cover of the switch, and you will find one or two adjusting screws. The main adjustment is usually a silver or gold screw (NOT the terminals with the wires on them).
Turn clockwise to increase pressure, counterclockwise to decrease pressure.
If the differential (the difference between cut-in and cut-out) needs adjusted, there is sometimes a second (usually plastic) adjusting screw behind and to the left of the main screw to adjust the cut-in without adjusting the cut-out.
You won't get the differential any tighter than maybe 25-30 PSI.
Test run while bleeding off a little air, and see if further adjustment is necessary. If so, you can adjust with the power plugged in IF YOU ARE CAREFUL - the wire terminals in the pressure switch are exposed and they will have voltage that can zap you.
Make sure you don't overpressurize (run higher than rated pressure) the unit, or your motor will overload, or the safety valve will pop off.
Let me know if this helps!

How to test a pressure sensor switch on a air compressor

Hi, W/D here.

To accurately test a switch, it has to be removed from the compressor and tested by raising the pressure and lowering it with air supplied from a known, good regulator. The trip pressures are then noted and adjusted.
The quick and dirty way of "getting close enough" is a little different. Start the compressor, and when it gets to your desired cutoff pressure, pull the plug. Adjust the HP spring untill the contacts trip out. Now, with the compressor still unplugged, drain the pressure off of the tank until you reach your desired cut in pressure, and close the valve. Adjust either the LP cut in or the differential pressure adjustment to set the cut in pressure. The contacts will pull in. If you adjust the cut in pressure with the diff pressure setting, the cut out pressure has to be challenged and set again. Whichever method you follow, you always need to check the upper and lower settings after each adjustment.
Best regards, --W/D--
