Tv has no picture or sound; will go out while watching. The picture will go into a line and sound and picture will go out; shortly after that tv will turn off. You have problems with a condenser that allow the power supply to maintan an acceptable level of voltage in order to keep the TV on. take to a tech to be fixed. unfortunatelly, this problem needs a tech to take measures in the circuitry to find the component that causes the problem.
unfortunately my solution was to pitch the tv, and had to buy a new one, it was going to cost $1200 and up to fix it. The tech said 5 yrs. for a plasma is about it.
