How do i set the alarm on a t231

Setting The Alarm Time of T231
This Timex clock radio has dual alarms that can be set and used independently. The initial default alarm settings are 6:00 AM for Alarm 1 and 7:00 AM for Alarm 2. The procedure for
setting both alarms is the same.
NOTE: The alarm times can only be adjusted when the clock radio is in the OFF mode. If the radio is playing, press and hold the MODE/ALM RESET button until the display briefly shows
'OFF' and then reverts to the time.
1. Press and hold the ALM 1 button until the Alarm 1 time and the Alarm 1 Buzzer indicator begin flashing in the display, then release the button.
2. Press the HOUR / REV button to advance the display to the desired wake-up hour. Observe the PM indicator to confirm that you have set the wake-up hour correctly. If the PM indicator is
'On' the wake-up hour on the display is PM. If the PM indicator does not appear the wake-up hour on the display is AM.
3. Press the MIN / FF button to advance the display to the correct wake-up minute, and then release the button.
4. Press the ALM 1 button once more to confirm the wake-up time setting or after 10 seconds the display will stop flashing and the new wake-up time will be entered automatically. The
display will return to the correct time of day but the Buzzer indicator will remain 'on' in the display indicating that the Alarm 1 is now set to wake you to the buzzer.
5. To change the alarm mode from buzzer to radio, or to cancel the alarm, press the ALM 1 button again. Press the ALM 1 button once more to select the Radio alarm. Press the ALM 1 button once more to cancel the alarm function. The alarm indicators disappear and the display returns to the correct time.
6. Follow the same procedure to set the Alarm 2 wake-up time.

Need manual for Travel Companion Model S1500 Alarm Clock

Travel alarm clocks can have varying instructions, depending on the type of clock you are using. Here are some tips for use that will apply to any alarm clock.

  1. Power source
    • Travel alarm clocks will need to have some sort of power source. Depending on the type of alarm clock, it might be battery-powered or it might have a cord that needs to be plugged in. Battery-powered alarm clocks can take mini watch batteries, AAA batteries or sometimes AA batteries. Travel alarm clocks, because of their tiny size, usually have the small batteries that need to be bought from a watch store or a dollar store. Before you leave, make sure you have a working power source and can turn it on.
    Changing the time
    • After you reach your final destination, power the alarm clock on. Now you'll need to set the time and date correctly. Check a watch, cell phone or television to get the exact time and locate the buttons or dials on your alarm clock. On some, there will be a "time" or an "hour" button you need to press and hold to activate the alarm time change. While you are holding it down, turn the dial, press the hour button or press the (+) button until you notice a time change. On others, simply pressing the hour or minute button will let you change the time shown.
    Setting AM/PM
    • The AM/PM option is critical in setting your alarm clock correctly. Make sure the LCD display on your clock has a light beside the correct AM or PM setting, or look for the letters AM or PM on the display. If you get this wrong, the alarm won't go off in the morning!
    Setting alarm time
    • To set the alarm time, look for a button or a switch that says alarm. If there is a switch, move it to the alarm setting. If it is a button, you'll need to hold it down until the time starts flashing, signaling time to change the hours and minutes to the desired alarm time, or hold it down while you press the hours and minutes buttons to reach the alarm time you want.
    Turn alarm on
    • Now double-check that your regular and alarm times are correct by switching the switch back and forth again, or by pressing the alarm/time buttons long enough to read the time set. There should be a picture of a bell somewhere on your LCD display showing that the alarm is set to "on." If there isn't, look for the on/off alarm button and move it to the correct position.
    Music options
    • The last step is finding the alarm wake-up option. Not all travel alarm clocks have this option, but if yours does there will be a switch or button that lets you choose to wake up by a buzzer, the radio, a CD, or another device.

How to install time

Press and hold Set until a little clock is displayed. Then use the forward/reverse buttons to change the time (you will see A.M. and P.M. indicators). The buttons are all on the right side of the clock radio. Then press Set again to leave the time set area. As you press Set again, you will be able to set the alarm time (Wake 1 and Wake 2) by pressing the forward/reverse buttons as well.

If any icon is flashing, press Set repeatedly until they stop.

I hope this helps.
