The cold water suddenly slowed, pulled it off but couldn't see any issue. Swapped the hoses around, run the machine on "hot" with it attached to the cold water. Now there's no spray or deep rinse cycle.
Any ideas please?

First attack is the lid switch- make sure it connects when closed- you can bypass with a jumper until replaced. After that the water inlet valve. If asking for cold rinse the washer will just sit there waiting to fill. confrim cold water at the valve by pulling hoses or if there is cold at other times like warm wash - you can feel it while filling. There may be a blocked in-line filter so check the external hoses and valve too.
In the rinse cycle it will use cold only to rinse with.
You need to see how fast the water is going into the machine on rinse
Things that can effect slow fill, low water pressure, Faulty cold valve
water hose & valve filters clogged, Kinked hose
You are better off swapping the valves over in the machine until you can buy a replacement valve. I've done this for a month or so until I replaced the valve. Works as long as you only use a cold wash and your cold water is not too cold as to make the machine want to add some hot. If it does this then simply press start to clear the fault.
Sounds like either the water valve is bad, or the screen in the valve is clogged. Take the hose (cold) off at the valve and look for the screen to be clogged. If it is not clogged, replace the water inlet valve.
The rinse cycle is cold water only. Your filter screen on the cold side is stopped up with sediment. Turn off the water. Remove the cold supply hose from the rear of the washer. The screen is located inside the water fill valve. Take a straightened paper clip and fish the screen out. Clean it and replace it. Do not run the machine without the screen it will ruin the valve. Some hoses also have screens. Check your hoses too.
take the hose off the cold water valve and check the screen on the water valve ,make sure the cold water is on all the way and the hoses are on the right valves get a water bucket hold the cold water line in it open the cold water valve to check the pressure
