SOURCE: E4 error after attempting to fill and get to temp

This is what I found for the E4 code...hope this helps...and thanks for rating my effort...The Fang.

Machine won't fill or won't fill high enough(LX18, LX30 display shows "E0," "E2," "E3," or "E4")

1.Low water pressure — check for clogged hose strainer; check that site water pressure meets minimum flow pressures.
2.Make sure probes are clean.
3.No water pressure — main water supply valves may not be working.
4.Drain valve open - turn machine off to drain machine, then on. Repeat twice (this assists in clearing any drain valve obstructions). Wait for machine to reach READY mode and press WASH. Slowly open door several seconds later and note water level. Close door; 30 seconds later, open door slowly and check that water level is the same as it was. If not, repeat the
OFF-ON procedure.
5. Delime machine.

SOURCE: hobart lx30hunder counter dishwasher..not hearing

Hi

P2 error code in your Hobart dishwasher indicates a bad rinse thermister that should be replaced. To locate the thermister you can gain access to the back, then on the top right side you'll see a probe with two wires going in the rinse piping. The thermister is located next to the vac. brkr. , you can use a 7/16 wrench to unscrew it and replace it; will cost you around $70. If you have already replaced that part correctly then check the thermostat located near that part and replace it if it reads open. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

What does a P3 code mean? On a Hobart LXI high temp

P3 code refers to the probe near the airgap at the back. It is monitoring the rinse temp. P2 is the booser probe, and P1 is the wash tank. The control board will store error codes, so once changed, you can access the memory and clear it.

Hobart lx 40 - problem D 1

Does it show a wrench icon and P1?
error codes are p 1to 3 for probe errors, or E1 to 7 for error codes.
P1 is the probe on the wash tank. It's a thermistor with two black wires to a white connector. There is another on the booster front (P2) and a 3rd on the rear airgap, (p3). You could try exchanging 1 and 3 to see if the fault changes too. You have to drain the booster to swap P2. If it can't determine the wash tank temp, it won't know to control the heat and shows the error.

Refrig. evaporator thermistor read open or shorted for 10+ seconds, or repeatedly read erratic temp’s
Erratic temp can be many things such as an open door. Clear the code by holding the bell key for 15-30 seconds or until you hear a tone. Keep an eye on your temps for a couple of days. If it comes back its time to call a service tech. If you are in OC I have the number of the best tech for Sub Zero in all of SoCal. There is more tests that can be done depending on how tech savvy you are.
