Question about Pioneer PRO-200 60" Rear Projection Television
I have two problems. Maybe they are related. First problem. TV will be running fine, then suddenly I hear a loud ZAP, and it goes out. I can hear what sounds like a relay clicking on an off a few times, them it just stops. If I turn power completely off then back on after about 30 minutes, it runs again. Then happens all over. Second problem. Picture turns all blue and red. By using the secret repair technique ( banging the side of the set with my hand) some times it will fix it self. I have had nothing but problems with this set since I purchased it. Not sure whether or not to junk it and buy a flat panel. Thanks
You need the power supply board resoldered as I had the same problem. The guy listed below can do it for you as I shipped mine from Illinois to him in California... Piece of cake getting the board out of the back and it's not too fraigile... Just pack in bubble wrap and it will be fine. My TV is now working great.
BUT DON'T DELAY AS SOONER LATER TV WILL NOT RESTART..
