SOURCE: Have a Husqvarna riding mower

For a riding mower to start, all of the safety interlocks must be "made".
The brake may have to be set.
The transmission may have to be in neutral.
The blades must be disengaged.
The driver may have to be in the seat.
If one of the necessary interlocks is not "made", the mower will not start.

SOURCE: PTO stops, I turn the

You may need to consider that the alternator on the engine is bad. The ignition coil provides the spark, but all other electrical functions have to come from the mower's electrical system. When running the alternator charges the battery, allows you to use an electic pto. If the alternator is not functioning, then the battery takes the electrical demand, ie the electric pto. When the pto stopped functioning and you were unable to start that is because the battery was drained by the electric pto. This is like the alternator on your car going bad, and at night the head lights get dimmer and dimmer, and I can tell you from experience when the guages fail the ignition is about to fail. Anyway, enough of the flash back, I would start by testing the alternator. Do you have a voltage meter on the dash of your mower? If so, usually it will jump up and after starting, if it does not then that is another symptom of a bad alternator.

I hope this helps get you going. Please let me know if you run into problems or what your final result is.

SOURCE: Cub Cadet LT1050-Replaced the solenoid, had starter checked out-it's good, battery has full charge, but mower won't start. Help!!

You need to check that there is a 12volt supply from the low tention wire at the solinoid when the key is turned, if there is not either the switch is bad, or the wire from the switch is bad, or the fuse has blown.

Samsung N145 Plus battery charge failure

If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

Should the red light on my 15.6v dustbuster turn green when it's fully charged? It doesn't.

I had the same issue, then i just found the manual, in charging part, it says:"The charging indicator will be lit as long as the
appliance is connected to the plugged-in
charger."
Also it says:"While charging, the charger may get warm, this is
perfectly normal and safe. It can remain on
charge indefinitely without damage or danger. It
is not possible to "overcharge" the battery cells
with the charger provided"

Will 18 volt black & decker charger over charge battery

Hello Howard, There are two different kind of cordless drill chargers. One is a smart charger that will not overcharge your battery. It usually has a stand alone base that the battery plugs into and sometimes may have a red and/or a green light to let you know it is charged. This charger will stop charging when the battery is fully charged after an hour or less. The other one is a dumb charger that can overcharge your battery if left on the charger too long. This charger usually has a square or rectangular transformer that plugs directly into your wall receptacle. This charger may take up to eight hours to fully charge your battery and will continue to charge until you unplug it.

Brand new out of the box Volitation 9053 wont take a charge. Charger never goes green to indicate full charge. At most I get 5-10 seconds of weak spin and then the red light on the ECS board flashes. ...

  • If this is a brand new item out of the box, if this were my item, I would send it back for an exchange. The charger never turns green because the battery never gets a full charge. Because of that you won't get a 7.4volt reading out of the battery, Either the battery is not taking the charge or the charger is malfunctioning and not charging proper. The lights may work for a bit while the motor won't spin because a light takes far less voltage than turning a motor. Because you don't know if it is the battery or charger and it is new I have to suggest to take it back. The sooner the better. Messing with it will just void the warranty.

Regards, Tony
