Question about JBL Audio Players & Recorders

Need replacement power supply

I'm missing the original power supply for the JBL On Stage 400P iPod dock and I'm having a little trouble nailing down exactly what I need, in terms of a replacement. The unit lists the requirements as 24V 2.3A (positive inner core, negative outer ring). It also lists the model as 700-0084. I've found a couple that look like they match these general specs, but I cannot determine how many Mah or what the size of the plug is. Additionally, the couple that I have found seem very pricey. Any ideas on where I can look for information to determine just what the full specs are and where I might find a supply that matches those specs, at a reasonable price? I'm hoping to find a proprietary supply, not a multi-use supply.

Hello I have a JBL on stage 2 that I bought in the

Congratulations. You are among the first to approach us after having done a lot of the research up front instead of considering us a proxy Search Engine secretary.

I'm going with OS200ID as the unit's model number.

The DC input and physical fit are the only considerations for the dock's power - 12V/1.25A.

Item 190555626796 IS indeed a universal voltage (100-240 vac) sourced supply. The seller, DIGIDAVE, http://www.digidave.co.uk/help invites queries, too.

I'd say this is exactly what you need to use the the OS anywhere on the planet with a plug adapter.

It will actually work, however, you will not be able to dock the iPod® Nano into the JBL On Stage™. You can connect the audio in cable to the headphone jack of your iPod. That's the only way, hope this helps. Pls rate solution. Thanks!!

Hi. I just bought a new JBL On stage micro III. The problem is that when I put my Ipod on the dock the sound only comes from the iPod and the speaker doesn't produce any sound at all but when I push...

Have you made sure the dock is compatible with the iPod version you have? If you are having to move the iPod around, this may be because the dock isn't built for the iPod you own.

It could also be a technical fault that the dock is loose. Take it/send it back to the shop and explain your problem.

No Sound from JBL On-Stage 400

The power supply consists of two parts: the AC cord with a two-prong connector on one end and a double barrel plastic connector; and the large rectangular power supply which has a dual prong receptor on the side and a long cable which plugs into the JBL unit.

In my case, I had plugged the double barrel plastic connector into the dual prong receptor backwards. Even though I was getting full power to the unit, this somehow caused the speakers to become inoperative.

Of course, I would offer a recommendation to JBL that their power supplies are made to be "dummy proof" so this does not happen to others as well.
