I have a Mikomi DRF350x Dab radio and was wondering if there was a way to delete the stored stations on it as I have so many with previously moving around the UK?

To perform a system reset on a Mikomi DRF350X:

1) Turn on
2) Switch to FM using the 'DAB/FM' button
3) Disconnect power (e.g. unplug the PSU from the mains)
4) Push and hold 'Enter' whilst reconnecting the power

SOURCE: Retune Panasonic SA-EN38DB DAB radio + ipod dock

Original manual found - note the Model No. is listed as SC-EN38DB i.e. complete system (main unit = SA-EN38DB; speakers = SB-EN38; remote control = N2QAYB000245):

"Press and hold (PLAY MODE) until 2DAB AUTO SCAN' appears. When a frequency is tuned by Auto scanning on this unit, the ensemble corresponding to the frequency is displayed for approximately 2 seconds"

Hi, The mains lead for my mothers Sony DAB radio XDR-S7 has got damaged and I need to get her a replacement. Can you offer any suggestions, thanks.

Try taking it to either Radio Shack (USA) or Maplin's UK, I'm certain they will have something to replace it.

Hitachi ft 5500 tuner, tuner pre set problem

Hi,
I bought an FT-5500 in 1983 that I haven't used for ten years but I still have the manual which states the following re pre-sets:

1. Tune into the station to be memorised with the tuning key.

2. When the memory write key is depressed the memory write key indicator lights continuously for about 5 seconds after the FCCS operation with FM reception and immediately with AM reception. One of the 10 preset keys is depressed for memorising the station while the indicator is lit. When the key is depressed the indicator goes off, the memorizing operation is completed and the next time you want ot listen to the station it can be recalled by depressing the corresponding preset key.
If the preset key is depressed during this interval and the FCCS data & broadcassting station are memorised the indicator goes off.

There is more but I think this should be enough to get you going.

Cheers
Graham
