Machine bangs when on spin

Washing machines are just metal drums spinning in an axis from a motor with a belt (like how your vacuum spins the front brush). The pulleys to guide the bey can wear out. Open up machine's back and you'll likely see the problem. (have a flash light)

Here's videos and parts. Check elsewhere as you can likely find cheaper but they aren't terrible for prices.

Kind Regards,
Scott

My toyota corolla2005 rear right side wheel scrubing th tire when breaks

I would first check the break parts on that tire. remove the tire...making sure you take the precaution to chock the other tires and use an appropriate jack and proceed to removing the tire. Once the tire is down look at the the components for wear. Some break pads come equipped with a metal blade that once the pad wears out this metal plate comes in contact with the rotar or drum and makes a high pitch metal grind sound. This would be the indicator to change your pads and may possibly need to resurface your rotars or drums to spec. Let me know if that's what it was. GE.

Loud squeaking.

To me, I think I am hearing a dry bearing.
However, an old worn out belt can make the same sound!
You could take off the belt and try spinning the pulleys to hear which is noisy, or you could use a mechanic's stethoscope to find out.
A mechanic's stethoscope is a really long screwdriver or metal rod about 2 or 3 feet long that they put on different parts (put the handle end to your ear) to hear the noise each part is making.
If your belt is good, try the alternator bearings.
There is also an idler pulley or maybe 2 that could be noisy.
Be blessed.

Washer gets noisy and bangs around or out of balance during spin cycle

OK, lets see if I can help you. First, remove the 2 screws that are on the rear of the top panel, slide the panel back about 1/2 inch and lift the top off. Look at the rear bearings and any other visible signs of malfunction. Also, be sure to check the suspension for anything that may be loose. Post your findings back to me.

IN A 1993 BONNEVILLE SHOULD THE HORMIC BALANCER SPIN PART WAY AROUND WITH THE BELT OFF? AND WHY WHEN IT'S RUNNING DOES IT MAKE A BANGING SOUND

You should change the balancer .They should NOT spin . The banging sound is the engine not balanced.
If left too long you can break crankshafts

Water in trunk lid Popping in front end springs when going over speed break squeaks sound like it is coming out of the car

the only fix for the water in the trunk is to replace the trunk seal, folowing EXACTLY, the install directions. The water actually gets it's way in at the rear most vertical sections of the weather stripping. new strip needs CORRECT sealer, buy from dealer only.

There is an improved design being produced now.

COMPLETELY clean all old sealer, a tough but necessary job...

Brake squeaks repair involves machanic in a tube on the METAL to METAL parts of the back of your pad. Ideally, you would resurface the rotors, or look at replacement, as that may cost less...

Buy top quality parts only for these brakes.

In spin cycle, there is a loud metal on metal sound. could it be a bearing going out? the machine still spins but much slower, and the banging sound occurs in one place every revolution during the spin...

Hi
Remove the drum belt, and spin drum by hand.
If it feels rough, or it is noisy, then drum bearigs have failed.
Please rate my solution.
thanks.

Go to sear.com and then to the parts section. Type in your model # and there will be a list of sub compenents to the parts. Click on the tub section and the bearing (rear tub assembly) will be there.

If your dryer is noisy, check these:

Rollers
Idler pulley
Glides
Rear drum bearing
Blower wheel
Rollers Many dryers use rollers or wheels to support the clothes drum. When these rollers are worn, they can be noisy. You should replace the whole set of rollers at the same time.

Idler pulley Dryers have a tension or idler pulley that keeps tension on the main drive belt. When it's worn, it can be noisy. When that happens, don't lubricate it. Just replace it.

Glides Many dryers use nylon or plastic glides at the front of the clothes drum for support. When these are worn, they can be noisy. When that happens, replace them.

Rear drum bearing Some dryers support the clothes drum in the rear with a center spindle instead of rollers. The spindle may be a ball-and-socket type support or a shaft through a sleeve. When the components are worn, they may squeak, squeal, or rub. You can't repair them. Just replace them when they're worn.

Blower wheel Your dryer's blower wheel pulls air over the heat source, through the clothes drum, and past the thermostats, then pushes it out the exhaust duct. The blower wheel, which is usually plastic, may wear out over time. But if it's noisy, it may simply be clogged with lint. Clean the blower and test to see if the dryer is still noisy. If it is, you probably need to replace it.
