No input signal on monitor-not connected to tv-computer works fine except for the no input signal

no input or signal means that the monitor is not receiving any signal from the CPU and if the power light is amber then and the cpu works fine then there could be a problem with the cable connecting the CPU and the monitor ...check the cable.

Searching for signal

DVI and HDMI are the exact same signal, except that DVI doesn't include the provision for audio. Essentially the problem you're having is that you have the monitor set to auto input rather than HDMI input or DVI input. Setting the monitor to not look for any input you plug in and defining the input should cause the hunting wait to be eliminated.

My Zoostorm Desktop won't boot and show up on the monitor. Help?

No signal just means the video card isn't putting out any signal. If you don't even see BIOS then replace the power supply first. Still doesn't work then it's probably the motherboard.

Monitor will not boot up is reading no input signal

So either the computer isn't generating a video signal, the cable isn't carrying the signal to the monitor, or else the monitor isn't capable of receiving a video signal. To test this, first try a video cable that you know is good, in case your cable is bad, If it works with the other cable, the problem was your original video cable. If it still doesn't work, put your original cable back, and hook another computer up to the monitor. If the monitor makes the same message, the problem is with the monitor. If the other computer works when connected to this monitor, your problem was that the original computer isn't booting (which could be due to several reasons I will list below), or the video adapter is broken.Possible reasons for the computer not booting: bad power supply, bad power button, bad hard drive, bad memory, bad motherboard component. If you determine that it isn't booting, unplug everything except the keyboard mouse monitor and power cord, to see if that makes a difference. If it boots after that, something you unplugged was causing the problem, plug them each back in one by one, rebooting in between, and when it stops booting properly, the last thing you plugged in is causing the problem.

Monitor will not stay on

Generally Monitors have a single light in fron pannel, with dual mode colors as Green and Orange.

Green: Everything is OK .
Orange: Everything is OK, except it is not getting
any signals from computer or other source.

Try with any other monitor with your CPU, it may happen that CPU actually not providing any signal to Monitor. Try checking the "NUM LOCK" button on and off, whether it makes the light on keyboard to flash on or off.
If NUM LOCK is woking OK, there is surely some problme with your monitor and you need to get is checked physically with an engineer.

"No signal input" means that the signal is not making it from your video card to the monitor. Things to try: 1) check your monitor cable to make sure you didn't accidentally bend any pins when you reconnected it. 2) Unplug the monitor for about 5 minutes and then try again. 3) If you are positive that everything is connected correctly and that things are working (you can hear the hard drive and fans spinning up but no video) then you may have somehow killed a component. disconnect everything except the power-supply, video card, 1 stick of ram, the CPU and the CUP fan and see if it you get video there. If you don't, then the next step would be to swap out each of those components left to see what died.

No picture on the screen

Hi,

I have this Panasonic PanaSync SL70 17'' monitor, I don't use it often. It is still in very great shape. However, I tried to turn it on yesterday, I got a black screen. The power LED is on and I can hear the relay is clicking when signal received. I tried to remove the signal cable, I can see it turns to power saving mode. It seems that everything works fine except no picture. I am if the transformer is gone, but not sure. I am wondering if you can help?

Monitor out of range

Most commonly, this problem is caused by an incorrect refresh rate setting. LCD monitors typically DO NOT support refresh rates higher than 60hz - and this is no exception. Try running the game in "safe mode" if it has one. Adjusting the in-game video settings should solve the problem, just look for a screen refresh rate or any video-related setting with a number followed by "hz". Set it to 60, everything should be fine.

It could also be that at some point the game changes resolution (this frequently occurs if there is an in-game movie or cut-scene). In this case the resolution settings for the in-game movie might be at fault, check them if you can.
