Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

Clerk Button We have a Casio TK-2700 cash register that we can't get to switch clerks. Every time I hit '0' clk and 1 or 2 (we only have 2 clks) when I hit the clerk button it just beeps at me. There is no error and I have tried clearing the machine lock (turning off and holding down receipt feed). Any thoughts or suggestions to try?

I would suggest asking the register supplier. These machines ship with retailer specific software. Or you could look in the manual that you were given with the machine.

SOURCE: casio tk2700 clerk

Hi,

Turn key to PROGRAM mode.
2 SUBTOTAL (the display should now show 'P2')
Now type the number of the clerk to change e.g to change clerk 3, press 3 on the numeric pad.
07 SUBTOTAL
Now type the new name for the clerk using the alphabet sheet (usually under your other keysheet).
CASH
SUBTOTAL

Hope this helps. If you have any trouble, just let me know.

My sharb cash register XE-A40S got error( Not assigned) I press CL+1+Clk ) dos not work what I have to do?

That is strange. You may have had the clerk sign on codes changed by someone. Make sure you are using the CLK# button at the top of the keyboard next to DEPT SHIFT button. Make sure the key is turned to REG position. If 1 CLK# doesn't work, try 2 CLK# or 9 CLK# Most machines will print the clerk number on the display once you enter it correctly e.g "-01-"

Hi. Error 8 usually means no clerk logged in. Type your clerk code and press your CLK# (clerk number) button to sign on. Default is 1 then CLK#
