How to clear a full mailbox on a uniden 6.0 phone

Here is Uniden's online link: http://www.uniden.com/index/home.cfm
Mid page you'll find a spot to look for the owner's manual to your phone.
In the event the book fails to offer any help or "how to" instructions to remedy your problem, and you are still unable to clear your mailbox entries, contact your cell phone provider for tech support. The problem may be on their end.

I need instruction manual to program speed dial

I was unable to locate a user manual for that particular device, however the basic instructions for programming speed dial functions are normally very similar between most phones.

Generally there are ONE TOUCH Speed Dial buttons labelled something like M1, M2, and M3 on the dial pad somewhere.

There should also be another button labelled PROG or STORE on the keypad as well.

Normally to program a number into a ONE TOUCH speed dial memory location you carry out the following procedure:

Lift the handset.

Then press the PROG (or STORE) button.

Now just use the number keypad to dial the full telephone number that you want to store in a Speed Dial location.

Once the full telephone number is dialed, then push the M1 button to store that phone number in the M1 One Touch Speed Dial location.

The phone may or may not show some kind of confirmation that the M1 location was just programmed, then just hang up the handset.

Now when you lift the handset and press the M1 button, the phone should automatically dial the phone number you programmed into it.

Now just repeat the same process for the M2 and M3 One Touch Speed Dial buttons with other phone numbers if necessary.

To change one of the Speed Dial numbers, just carry out the normal programming procedure for that location using the new phone number and the old number will simply be overwritten.

I truly hope that was helpful to you.
Good luck and take care.

Joe.

Hi, just purchased a Uniden SSE17+1. We were told that we could store up to 50 phone numbers and name in the data base. As yet we are unable to find where in your manual this can be done. We had a...

Hi:
First, I would like to explain that FixYa is not associated with Uniden in any way, so it's not our phone or our manual. We are an independent "HELP" site that strives to clarify what manufacturers have scrambled up and confused. I reviewed the manual for your phone, and it states that you can program three numbers into the one-touch buttons (A, B, and C on the top row of keys) and up to ten numbers in the regular keypad (keys 1 through 0). You can also save up to 50 numbers in the caller ID memory, and they can be recalled and dialed. The caller ID information will include name and number if the caller's phone provided it, but you cannot edit the information. You can also enter, store, and edit both name and phone number in the ten speed dial memories. If a salesperson told you otherwise, he/she likely just didn't understand the features of your phone. If you're not happy with the phone's functions, you might consider returning it to the seller.

I hope this information helps. If it does, please rate our service -- and a rating of "very helpful" would be greatly appreciated.

Caller id

First you need to verify if the caller id does that to all incoming calls, showing numbers only, or if it only does that to only numbers stored in directory. If it does that to all incoming calls then you need to check manual to see if there a setting to allow both name and number of all incoming calls. Either way you need to make sure caller id functions allows both name /number on display.

System Directory

I assume you have the manual. I found it very difficult to follow, very poor. While "on hook" enter the number you want to call. Press "store" or "enter". Enter the name referring to the graphics chart on pages 7 & 8. It is set up for Alpha characters and it depends on which software is installed on your phone. Example: If you want the letter "A" you press the number 2 one time. If you want the number "2", you have press "2" seven times to display the number 2. Use the toggle key to move to the next letter or number you want to enter. When you have finished press "Store". It may take awhile but that's how its done. Not a very good system for the average consumer in my opinion. But that's how its done. I was unable to upload the manual.
