Here is Uniden's online link: http://www.uniden.com/index/home.cfm
Mid page you'll find a spot to look for the owner's manual to your phone.
In the event the book fails to offer any help or "how to" instructions to remedy your problem, and you are still unable to clear your mailbox entries, contact your cell phone provider for tech support. The problem may be on their end.
Hi: First, I would like to explain that FixYa is not associated with Uniden in any way, so it's not our phone or our manual. We are an independent "HELP" site that strives to clarify what manufacturers have scrambled up and confused. I reviewed the manual for your phone, and it states that you can program three numbers into the one-touch buttons (A, B, and C on the top row of keys) and up to ten numbers in the regular keypad (keys 1 through 0). You can also save up to 50 numbers in the caller ID memory, and they can be recalled and dialed. The caller ID information will include name and number if the caller's phone provided it, but you cannot edit the information. You can also enter, store, and edit both name and phone number in the ten speed dial memories. If a salesperson told you otherwise, he/she likely just didn't understand the features of your phone. If you're not happy with the phone's functions, you might consider returning it to the seller.
I hope this information helps. If it does, please rate our service -- and a rating of "very helpful" would be greatly appreciated.
First you need to verify if the caller id does that to all incoming calls, showing numbers only, or if it only does that to only numbers stored in directory. If it does that to all incoming calls then you need to check manual to see if there a setting to allow both name and number of all incoming calls. Either way you need to make sure caller id functions allows both name /number on display.
The store memory function is very similar to this phone in the EXA series phone made my Uniden.
See the instructions to store/delete/add numbers in the manual below on page 22.
hope this helps
I assume you have the manual. I found it very difficult to follow, very poor.
While "on hook" enter the number you want to call. Press "store" or "enter". Enter the name referring to the graphics chart on pages 7 & 8. It is set up for Alpha characters and it depends on which software is installed on your phone. Example: If you want the letter "A" you press the number 2 one time. If you want the number "2", you have press "2" seven times to display the number 2. Use the toggle key to move to the next letter or number you want to enter. When you have finished press "Store".
It may take awhile but that's how its done. Not a very good system for the average consumer in my opinion. But that's how its done.
I was unable to upload the manual. Here's the link if you don't have it:
