Clothes washer tub spins on wash

The tub spins so fast on the WASH cycle that the clothes centrifuged away from the agitator making it useless. A burning rubber smell lead me to change the belt but that did not fix the problem. I figure the problem with the tub is the same that melted the belt. Any tips? Yes, the agitator works and the spin cycle works just fine.

Sounds like u have a problem with the "brain". The agitator and spin cycle should never run at the same time. therefore it leads me to A: brain issue B:problem in the actual transmission of what cycle should be running. You will continue to smell the burning rubber due to the issue being one of the two explained above. Does it ever NOT spin? If this is the case the likely hood is that it will be a solenoid.

I have a L63bna dishwasher, new. It doesn't dry and stays in the drying mode, please advise, thank you!

This machine uses the latent heat, after the rinse cycle to dry the contents.
"Ariston L 63 B NA Dishwasher - Black, 5 wash programs & options (intensive wash, regular wash, eco wash, rapid wash, soak), wash sequence indicator; washing temperatures up to 160°F, dynamic drying (natural condensation dry); Water safety : Overflow; Platinum Multisystem Rack and Baskets; Adjustable Top Rack : standard; Built in Water Softener indicator light; Concealed heating element; Tub & Drum : Stainless Steel, Filter : Stainless Steel"

If the contents gets hot when washing, it will dry as described with the door open.

Why is my LG wd80130fu not spinning anymore

Hi,

Please attempt to run your washing machine without clothes and see if it spins. Or you might toss one small piece of clothing in just to be able to check if the spin occurred or not. If you do this and spin occurs, then you might be adding to many clothes to your washer with each wash.

Thank you.

There is still water sloshing in the tub under the basket after a wash cycle is complete. Kenmore top load 110.21302012

If the pump is working rotate the selector dial around slowly until the pump comes on again. If it doesn't empty the tub then something is blocking the water, flow, i would look at the hoses for links or blockages

Kenmore washer won't fast spin

On most modern Washing Machines there will be an engineers program. To get into it there will be a key or button press combination.
You should be able to reset and control functions from there.

Google your Model with Engineer Program etc.

GEprofile washing machine makes noise spinning, washes good

Well I'm not sure what it has to do with a 1997 Grand Prix but, you have a bad spin bearing on the bottom of the washer transmission. The bottom tub seals tend to leak and water runs into the bearing.

Our washer does not spin. It vibrates, but when you open the lid, it is clear that nothing has moved.

Does the washer adjitate well during the wash cycle. If the washer fills and pumps oput the water but does not adjitate or spin well the coupler that couples the motor to the transmission is stripped and worn our.

My washing machine wont wash. It will fill with water and drain in spin cycle. Someone help me! Could it be the belt?

It sounds like your "Agitator" or "spinner" is not working. It is hard to say without more details.

Here's a tip anyways:

Get a small socket set, and pull out your washer. Either on the back or the front of the machine (usually the back), there will be 6 to 12 small nuts and bolts that can be removed to pull the cover from the washer.

Once you have the cover off, run the machine and watch it. You will notice where the problem is if you keep your eyes open for it. Try setting it to "spin" to see if it spins. If it does, then go through the cycles until you notice what your washer is not doing.

**Warning** Although washers are fairly easy to work on, there are moving parts and wires in there, so please be careful with your hands**

Spin cycle is very loud, used to be very quiet.

It could be Quite a few things either not level to the ground or off track on the inside. try running washer without clothes see if it still makes that sound.
