Cannot receive bluetooth messages from other devices

We are unabled to receive bluetooth messages from any device on our Blackberry phones (pearl/bold). We have attempted all the troubleshooting procedures and none have worked. We are able to send messages to other bluetooth devices but are unable to receive messages from bluetooth enabled phones. All the phone settings for bluetooth are enabled.

Turn on Bluetooth headset and Blackberry hand-held.2

  • Enable the Bluetooth radio by going to the options window and clicking on Bluetooth. Click on Enable Bluetooth in that window.3)Add your Bluetooth headset to your Blackberry by clicking on Add Device in the Bluetooth window.4)Find and select the name of your Bluetooth headset from the list that appears. The Blackberry will search for all Bluetooth devices within range, so other devices might show up on the list.5)Click Activate Bluetooth device if you receive a call and the Bluetooth headset does not pick up automatically

I am unable to receive pictures, music from other mobile phone to my BB Bold 9700 through Bluetooth. Both devices are pairing but BB is not receiving sending is not a problem.

you should select the option "receive via bluetooth". in the media menu, press the menu button (the bb symbol) then select receive via bluetooth, then send the file. you will then be able to receive files from other phones.
hope this helps. also please rate. thanks!
