I have an inspiron 1525 laptop. Its bluetooth is not working.Where do i get the driver and how to install it

You need to use your CD with drivers from Dell and unzip the bluetooth driver to C:\dell\drivers\R140135. close the Fn + F2 thing and go to that location. You will see 2 folders Win32 & Win 64 of vista version you have installed . Launch "Inst.exe" and wait until another Fn+F2 prompt will apear. Close this prompt and the install will finish. Restart your computer and after Vista boots up you will see in the tray the bluetooh icon. Right Click to turn the adapter on and the drivers will be reinstalled.

I have a 2009 Dell Laptop Latitude E5400, how do I enable my bluethooth?

If the bluetooth driver is installed and the bluetooth module is running properly, press Fn+F2 (simultaneously) to activate the bluetooth and press the same keys to deactivate. There is no other dedicated switch or button to enable bluetooth.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

My Dell Inspiron E1505's wireless switch is off.

This happened to me using a Dell Inspiron laptop. The wireless switch was disabled and the answer was supposed to use both the blue Fn and regular F2 function key to enable wireless connection. I tried Fn and F2 together and it did not work. I tried just F2 alone and it worked.
