Gasket cleaning: Start by noting where angled ends of thick black gasket sit. Pull gasket out of stainless steel gutter. Soak and scrub with dishsoap in the sink. Start by placing one angled end as noted earlier. Press gasket firmly back into gutter.
I am really happy with Bosch for making it easy to clean!

Water drips out at the bottom 2 coners

Check the gasket on the door. Make sure it is free of debris that would cause the seal to leak. Also check for damage. If damaged it needs to be replaced. There are online websites where you can order replacement OEM parts. If dirty take warm, soapy water and a soft cloth and gently clean the gasket.

Bosch SHU4302 DW has a leak in the bottom left. I cleaned the gasket etc. but no luck. Slow leak drip by drip in the wash cycle. This model does not seem to have the steam vent that other Bosch models...

I've got a 4306, and while it never leaked, the bottom door gasket did seem to chemically melt over the years.

I replaced it a few months ago. I don't know that a steam vent is needed as the gasketing system never allows any steam pressure to build. And, if anything, in general, the gaskets are in worse shape now than when the dishwasher was new, so leakage due to steam pressure would have been greater when new.

Bosch dishwasher door leaks

Hi have you adjusted the door striker on the top part of the dishwasher? This is the part that the main door latches onto and can be adjusted in or out!

Bosch d/w model shu6806. Leaking lower door gasket. have new gasket but would like manual instructions on replacement. must door be removed? Any particular warnings? Charles

I have had the same problem and finally stumbled upon the answer today!

If you are looking inside your dishwasher, look mid way up the right side wall and there is a valve/hole...if that hole is covered up (e.g. cutting board, ect) it will cause water leakage.

Weird huh? But that recommendation is coming straight from the Bosch headquarters in Canada. I would not have believed it otherwise, but I have read this solution twice, and now myself, have not had a leak since I stopped placing things over that hole! My model is SHU3326UC.

Black spots on plastic items

I have the same problem on my Bosch dishwasher Model # SHX33A05UC. It is about 6 years old. I have replaced three gaskets and it did not solve the problem. I am a 25 year mechanical engineer. I do not recommend anyone changing these gaskets on their own except for the long dishwasher door gasket (which goes along the top, left and right door edges) which is quite easy to replace. The other two gaskets, which were quite difficult to replace, were the gasket at the bottom of the dishwasher door and the sump pump gasket. I am still having the tar like black tiny dots depositing on my plastic tupper wear on the second shelf. I will likely not buy a Bosch dishwasher ever again. I will make my decision after hearing what Bosch tech support has to say about what I need to replace next. Could it be the rubber drain check valve not operating correctly? I need to find out. I have spent so much time trying to solve this black tar dot problem!!!
