It could be the graphics processor is having troubles. Try updating the graphics drivers.

Laptops that have pre-installed Microsoft Office in it usually have 60-day trial version or Microsoft Office starter. The trial version may be a Home edition and has the full features but will ask for a product key after the trial period expires. The MS Office Starter only has limited features for MS Word and Excel only, but this is not a trial version.

If you want to continue using the trial MS Office or want the full functionality of MS Word and MS Excel plus MS powerpoint etc, you need to follow the steps provided to activate or purchase a product key from the application itself. You need to purchase the product key from Microsoft since this program is unfortunately not free.

i highly recommended that option.

You will have to buy Microsoft Office 2007. Which they no longer sell so it has to be Office 2010 or try free OpenOffice.

Hi, the product key mentioned is not the one on the bottom of the machine. This is your windows key.
Unfortunately, Microsoft love to obtain more money from you, Office 2010 is pre-installed on your machine with Windows by the manufacturer and you need to purchase a new key for Office.

If your Windows 7 is running fine then its okay. You have to determine that the product key is required by which software for example in your case it can be the "Microsoft Office" because "Excel" is a part of Microsoft office that you may have installed by yourself which is not genuine and its asking for the key.
If the message that pops up is not from Microsoft office then:
You do not have a Genuine Windows in your Laptop.

Please Take your laptop back to the outlet where you have purchased it and tell them with the purchase document (Like receipt and whatever the Warranty document) you have a counterfeit Windows 7 and you want a piece of Laptop that has Genuine Windows 7.
