SOURCE: LG super blu player won't play blu ray disc

Have you updated the firmware on it? I had a similar problem with a Sony blu-ray player and I had to download an update and burn it on to a CD then allow the CD to update the blu-ray player. What's the model number of your player, I may be able to get a link to the update for you.

SOURCE: Can the LG BD370 be made region free?

Good news! It can be made to be region free. However it's not as simple as entering a code on the remote. You'll need to update the firmware on the player's chip. Read this forum to see how to do it. It's not hard but will take a little time to do,

I have a lg tv and lg blue ray player if i get a rotor wireless one will it let me have the net on the blue ray player

Not sure what a rotor wireless one is. If you meant to say another wireless one meaning an LG or other brand blueray player with wireless capabilities then probably yes. Some players don't have an actual brower ability but alot if not most of them do. I am pretty sure the LG models do. The LG player you have now probably does unless it is really old but it may only have a network port on the back to hardwire to your network.
Hope this helps.

There are no compatibility issues. In your BluRays HDMI audio settings set the audio out to PCM instead of bit stream. The TV cannot decode digital bit stream audio.

Blue ray will not play dvd but will play blue ray samsung db p1500

Blue ray uses a blue laser spectrum and DVD uses the red spectrum. The blueray player must have dual capability to play both red and blue spectrum discs. If it has been and is broken, contact the manufacturer for the 1 year warranty. If it has never played DVD then most likely its not compatible.

Do I insert it into the TV or the Blue Ray player? I can't get it to connect to the internet and just increased my internet speed.

Depends on what it is you are connecting to the internet. It sounds like you are talking about the Blu-Ray player, so in that case I would connect it to the Blu-ray player itself via the USB port at the back.
Then once its connected, restart the player ( turn off and on again) go to the connection or network setting page, and set it up through there!
Hope this helps :D

Get a Wireless Access Point ($30-$50 average). A wire from WAP to the Blu-Ray player should work like a charm. The WAP pretty much takes your wireless connection and transforms it back to a wired Ethernet connection for devices like this. You can have your Wireless Router on one side of your house and the WAP on the other, right next to your blu-ray player with a short Ethernet connection between the two. The player will just see it as a standard Ethernet connection.

I had a similiar problem with my BD390...Saw the SSID but not able to log on. I ended up performing a downgrade of firmware from LG's support page and corrected it. Afterwards upgraded firmware to current levels and works still ok.
