I sell that product, I can a PC board for that product for you. Have it shipped directly too you.

No since in repairing a damaged board when it does not cost an arm or leg. You might want to use the old board for parts later on.

Make sure you take a digital picture of the set up before you remove the board.

Power com is an awesome and very durable product, blowing a that board, you might want to do something on the AC power like a surge suppressor. If you are using a back up generator on the system, then over current might have done it. So call me, I can help you. I have more questions for you, so this problem will not destroy your PC board again.

SOURCE: ups is not glow any indication, just give buzzer

It look like dead battery. Try to connect carefully new (or allmost new) battery with 24v lamp in (+) wire. If UPS alive - you'll see only small momentary sparcle. After this - connect battery as usual and try to turn system on. Be carefull! If lamp lit in full power - it means a serious internal problem. Best solution - look for qualified serviceman. (maybe yoir system needs reprpogramming).

Looking in to purchasing a Ultra Xfinity 2000VA 1200w UPS ULT33046.....wanting to know how many batteries it contains to see what future costs might be....

It contains two universal #1290 9AH batteries with F2 connectors. The batteries are taped together side by side with the terminals in a vertical straight line so that the positive terminal of one is at the bottom left position, the - to + shunt connects the two middle terminals, and the negative terminal is at the top position. Be sure and write down the names of the connectors that the battery cables connect to on the board before you remove the batteries. There are two possibilities for both the positive and negative terminals.

Hi, i am a technician attending an AEC UPS model ST4200, capacity 20KVA, the problem is that it is displaying :charger faulty: how can i solve this problem?

First I would check the fuses. does it try and ramp up at all? the charger board may have a bad fuse or may be faulty. Also check the batteries. Load test the batteries. Faulty batteries can lead to a fault in the charger. Also check the caps. Most people forget this because they are most often hidden way in the back out of site.

Dc bus faulty

Batteries in the UPS typically last 3 to 5 years and it depends upon several factors. including the number of times the unit must go on battery power and environmental conditions. There are usually several batteries in the UPS and while the battery voltage may show 13 volts, this may only be a float charge/voltage and a true indication of the battery voltage and condition requires the batteries to be tested under a load. There maybe one battery in a set of batteries that is faulty and causes the whole battery system to fail and indicate a battery fault.

These lower powered and cheaper KVA type UPS are switch over types, when the mains supply fail, the UPS switches over to the inverter in milli-seconds which then supplies mains power but the power waveform is a pseudo sine wave (ie not a true sinewave. A faulty inverter circuit won’t deliver power when the mains supply fails.

The true UPS types are usually the higher KVA units (over 1500 VA) that supplies uninterrupted mains power. The mains power is connected to a charger which charges the batteries and the inverter draws power from these batteries and converts it to true sine wave mains power therefore there is no switch over time lag from the mains to the battery.
