You need to buy software CD from JVC Accessories Store as software is not available over internet to download. Let me know exact model of your JVC camcorder to find out required CD in JVC store for you. Thanks.
the driver are available in this websites...... http://www.jvc-asia.com/sg/main/download... There will be a complete driver download for GR-D70 (all version - AS, US, etc.). The driver will include Decoder, USB driver, and many more inside.
This camcorder should not require a driver in order to capture the footage. Start up your capture software, power-up the camera in VCR mode and then connect the Firewire cable. It should then allow you to playback the tape and capture the contents. Here is the manual online: http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/00/00/94/LYT1353-001A.pdf If you need a simple program to capture the footage look to: http://www.virtualdub.org/
Your video-editing software (including Windows Movie Maker) should also capture the footage.
