Fonts and sizes are typically controlled by the application you are using. Are you sure you are increasing the font size? I've had some users confused by the zoom feature which is more like a magnifying lens. It just makes thing larger for viewing purposes and does not affect the print size. To change the actual font size of a document already created you would first highlight the text in the document. In Word (other applications are similar) you would then select Format from the main menu bar, then select Font. In the next box that appears you would click on the Font tab, and then in the Size field select a larger font size. After that click on OK and you should see your font size change. Let us know if that was your problem or not.

SOURCE: font size problem when printing documents

Hi, my name is adam. I am pretty sure what you are describing is a common problem. Before you print you need to go to print setup or print preview and change the zoom settings so that when it prints it can be zoomed to where you can see it clearer.

SOURCE: Very small print

Thanks for the additional information... I know what you mean about this feature and you're not alone... Quite a few people have complained that it makes life very difficult.

One solution it to apply a registry "fix" and this is detailed here:
http://wizardev.ca/web-words/fix-for-ie7s-shrink-to-fit-printing-option

However that may not work for Vista so as a workaround for now I'd try a couple of things.

1. Try running windows update and make sure you have all the latest security updates installed as it looks like one of these may have solved part of the issue.

Because I don't use Vista myself I can't confirm if registry change would be allowed (because of all the security in Vista) but you could try running this code from the command window.
reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MAIN\FeatureControl\FEATURE_STF_Scale_Min" /v iexplore.exe /t REG_DWORD /d 100 /f
More likely is that you'll need to use this work-around instead..

Before you Print Preview option (click the down arrow to the right of the print icon on your IE7 toolbar) and change the "Shrink to Fit" option to 100% or a comfortable proportion.

Hope that helps and just as a thought... Internet Explorer 8 is now out and "might" resolve this but I'd hold off on installing it for a couple of months until any bugs have been ironed out.

Good luck

I think, you have selected the Fix to Page option in Print Preferences. You have to change this option.

In the Print Preferences, select the "Print at Actual Size" option.

Hope after this, you will get your problem solved.

How to change print size

Assuming you're referring to the print size of the fonts - letters ..... or the size of the printed page ...
If you're printing from your computer, you'll need to change the size of the font (to a larger font size) on your document before you print, or adjust the print Properties ... to fit to page, or magnify the size of a small document ...
If you're printing a pdf file, you can specify the size of the document using the enlarge (%) before you send it to the printer

HI! The user manual print is so small. Is there a way you could email me a larger print or somewhere I can find it on the web?

Since you didn't tell us the make and model of your camera, the only help we can give is to suggest using a magnifying glass to read the print.

Need operating instructions for my aqualite watch. i have original but the writing is to small for me to read. Need larger print.to print from my printer.

mcdevito75 here, There may be a zoom feature on your printer or text size so what you print comes out larger, Maybe?? You can try to right click on view on your computer top left side od screen and click on text or zoom and see if your printer will pick up the larger size for you, I doubt it though that is usually for your viewing at the computer. If you have the original manual in hand, Pick up a magnifying glass at any Dollar store.

How can I make the letters in the words bigger? as I have a hard time reading my statements?

Internet Explorer Version 8 has a built-in "magnifier".
Look at the bottom-right of IE's window, for a magnifying-glass, a '100%' label, and a small black-coloured triangle.

Click the triangle to pick a larger value.
