Couple of items to try. First disconnect everything except the power and the CPU. Does it give you a beep code?
If not your either have a bad power supply, motherboard, or cpu. (Only if everything else is disconnected.)
Second, If you did get the beep code then put the memory in and see if the system starts to boot. (Try without the screen connected first. If it acts like is going to start turn it off, plug in the mouse, keyboard, and monitor and try again.) ** I have seen where an add on video card would keep the computer from starting so try with the on board video first.**
Third, start adding one extra piece at a time starting with the hard drive.
Did you check the RAM ?? . Remove Ram and Clean it and Put it back . and try . ( also remove Grapics card or any add on card if you have . Also try by removing HDD / CDD / DVD /FDD ect from the mother board and Just connect the Keyboard abd boot the Mother board . If your K/B Number lock can be toggled , then there is no problem in MB)

After reading your issue,i am sure that there is problem with your motherboard. as you cannot see anything on screen and you get power, that means your motherboard is faulty so just get your motherboard replaced and it will be fine as before Thanks
it sounds like a conflick with something you are using, try some different memory, if you are using the ram stitch the memory around put the first chip last and the last chip set first, are you using the on board vedio or you using a card, same with the sound, if the mother board has these option on them than try and get them running and than switch over to the new cards configuration, if you start having problems than do one install at a time until you find out which one is giving you the most problem, i think i would start with the sound first than the vedio, than the high speed internet connection and so on
