Radio won't play...

2004 BMW M3. Radio/CD player just stopped working. GPS works. The power button is on. Won't turn off. Seems that the left side of the radio is frozen. All the GPS buttons work on the rightside of the player. CD's and Radio won't work. Please help. What is the deal? Is it a quick fix or do I need to buy a whole new radio?

Turntable will power up, all the lights come on,reads the cd but does not play. unit has to be turned off then on to eject the disc ? (hope this helps) Any ideas?

One of the buttons has got stuck, so when you press the button you want to, its not getting the message to start / stop playing. This is also why the eject won't work. Either a new button, or replacement board would make it happen for you :)

CD stopped playing in middle of disk. Will not

It is likely that the cable has become disconnected from the disk changer in the trunk.

Examine the changer (With the car turned off) there could be several cables connected to it. Check them to be sure that they are properly connected.

This is a common problem for people who use their trunk, since items can move around and knock the cables out of their sockets.

Good Luck!

I just hook up an after market cd player up in my 2001 chrysler 300m and the radio play but the cd player want play, it turns on and everything just no sound. do anyone have any ideas of what i did wrong?

DOES THE RADIO PLAY? HERE ARE THE FACTORY WIRING COLORS FOR THE RADIO HARNESS, RECHECK YOUR WORK. IF U FIND NOTHING THEN IF THE RADIO PLAYS THE CD PLAYER IS DEFECTIVE, IT HAPPENS BELIEVE ME.
