DOES IT SHOW FULL BATTERY POWER on the DISPLAY?

If it does, the phone device itself could be broken - take steps to get it replaced.

If it doesn't - if it's not the battery, it's the charger. Try a different charger - make sure while it's plugged in - the display shows that the charger is charging it, blinking - or bars going up or down, or a thunderbolt on the display etc. It could still be the battery - there are such things as OUT OF THE BOX FAILURES, where you get a dud for a battery.

All in all, trade someone for their battery, or their charger - if you dont wanna buy one at first. See if the problem follows your old battery etc.. Buying a battery or charger is usually like $5 on ebay, so that's much better than replacing the phone.

Blackberry 9720 suddenly went dead wont charge

Hi Michelle. I have the same phone and it happened to me a few times. On most phones the battery swells up when it reaches it's charging life end. In the 9720 the battery can still LOOK okay even though it might have reached its life-span. I eventually purchased a new battery, and wholaa, problem solved. A piece of additional advice is: Do not chat with you phone on the charger. Unplug the charger when battery is fully charged: We tend to charge the phone anytime and every time before we go to work or somewhere - you have to let the battery run flat on its own at least once a month, then start a fresh charge from fully flat to fully charged. This will prolong battery life. I a new battery does not solve the problem, have the charging pin checked out. Alternately if you know someone that has the same handset as you, ask them to stick your battery into their handset and visa versa. Hope this info help :)

Battery won't fully charge.

Does the battery % stop at 85% or does it get to 100% and reduce to 85% when disconnected?

I've read several articles about battery charging and several have stated that when the phone hits 100% on the charger it will slowly decline even though it is left connected. Basically, it hits 100% and acts like it's disconnected (even though connected). When disconnected the battery percentage will drop. I'm not sure if this is what you are experiencing or if it's a problem with the device.

To start, I would suggest backing up all data on the phone and sync with Google. Perform a factory reset and log back into the device. This may solve the problem. If not, then I'd suggest going back to your service provider

Nokia 1100 phone when i connect the charger only i can swith on my phone other wise i cant swith on the phone

Hello,

The problem with your phone is battery, the battery on your phone can no longer hold charges, that is why it switches on when you connect the charger.

I would advice you get a new battery on your phone and make sure you charge the new battery for at least 4-5 hours before you start using it. doing this will solve the problem on your phone and charging the battery before usage will help preserve the life span of the battery.

Take care.
