Question about Sony PSP (Piano Black)
After its on for a few seconds . .kicks itself off again.. still no screen
BIOS is corrupted on the mainboard inside of the PSP. Unplug the battery and also unplug the ac adapter.
After about 5 minutes plug up just the ac adapter and turn on the psp and see if you get video of any kind. If you can't get into any menus or any video to come up then your motherboard is corrupted and would need to be replaced. Hopefully if your psp is still convered under warranty you can get a replacement.

you bricked your psp when you downloaded your custom firmware. google pandora and look for batterys i cant tell you where exactly because sony has a copyright.
they should have a pandora battery and magic memory stick order the kit they offer and follow the instructions it comes with. that should install your firmware correctly

So you're having with power of your PSP?
1. Try to plug your AC adapter to your PSP without the battery. If the PSP successfully turned on, it means you're having with battery issue.
2. If you're having with battery issue, keep in mind that you need to clean between the battery and the socket connector.
Hope this help! Any questions? Feel free to ask me =]
