Will only run for 10 secs then stops, if throttle is opened when it runs, it stops immediately

Spark plug was dirty and covered with burnt oil.
I cleaned with steel brush. Worked like magic.

To avoid this, do not overfill oil above second mark

One day just stopped now wont start

fuel empty > starter switch forgotten > tank airiation > tankfilter > nozzle >leaking gaskets> flotterchamber > pearl in sparkplug lost compression by a wrong L+H adjustment , > lost compression , unmount the muffler and look if the piston you see has no grooves on it and is smooth like a mirror > look for a blue spark in the sparkplug if not replace bougie > replace ignition coil (if that happend then you must ask for an ignitioncoil by reporting the engine number and year of manufacture is different, and if you are not asked for this by dealer in many cases you get it for the wrong year of build . modifications has oft modification has often been prematurely

Pb-413 blower. starts w choke, then stalls when choke is taken off. wont run at full throttle without choke on about 90%

Most likely there's a problem with fuel supply - choking cuts air supply optimizing the air/fuel mix. Most common solution is to check and clean the carburetor.

If there's a tiny fuel filter in the fuel line between tank and carburetor check it on excessive pollution. Replace it when necessary.

When opening the blower for carburetor cleaning - also check the airfilter and replace when dirty.

If never opened the blower - take pictures with a digital camera at each step. The pictures can help with assembly after cleaning.

I have a Makita RBL250 leaf blower with continuing carburetor problems. The carburetor has been replaced with a new one twice by professional technicians and the problem persist. The first repair rela I bought the blower used off ebay 7/14/11, but appearance wise it looks almost brand new and hardly used. On the date I received it (7/18/11) it started up and ran just time in my approximate five minute test run. About a week later it would start but wouldn't accelerate beyond idle. I took it to the shop to have it checked out for the first time on 9/14/11. The diagnosis was that it needs a new carburetor. The repair work was done by Makita USA located in Pompano Beach, Fl. The blower was returned to me, and although I had a tough time getting it started, it did start and ran okay. It was used a few times afterwards and it ran okay. Then on or about 5/23/12, I was going to use it and I could not get it started at all.Surprisingly, it was just previously used about 1 week prior and there was a little difficulty in getting it started, but it did run okay on that occasion. I took it to a different local shop (Rogers Engines) for repair. Rogers Engines ultimately could not get the blower started after they said they had cleaned the carb. thoroughly. Their diagnosis again was that it needed a new carburetor. I bought a new carburetor off the internet, Walbro WYL 42-1 and took it back to Rogers Engines for installation on 6/20/12. When I picked up the blower on 6/22/12 at Rogers Engines, there was a bit of difficulty with them getting it to run right. But, before leaving the shop the blower was started up and it accelerated and ran strong. Later on the same day when I got, I decided to test it more. The blower still started after priming and setting the choke but it would not accelerate beyond idle. Also each and every time I tried to open the choke after it started the engine would die. I got tired and put the blower away, and after it sat overnight, I took it out and tried to start it again and now as of 6/23/12, it will not start at all. After replacing with two brand new carburetors, what could possibly be wrong? Thank you.
