Okay so, I had the same problem and all you have to do is have regular sms texting to get the downloads on your phone...
Go to:
https://nokiags.wdsglobal.com/globalJumpPage.html
Nokia and Cect use the same GPRS for there mmsing so you'll be able to download the following with no problems:
But if you don't have internet acces then don't bother with it It's not free.

You should be able to call tmobile and tell them you need the GPRS and MMS settings pushed to your number for a LG 720.
when the text comes to your phone, open it and select the right soft key to install the settings. you may also want to go to web sessions and make sure the tzones is selected as default, then go to
messages> options> settings> mms settings>web service t-zones
what failed? the picture being sent or the settings installing?
and here are the exact steps to find the settings.....sry i was going from memory last night
from the desktop press menu> media net> browser settings> accounts
for AT&T you should see Media Net, T-mobile there should be one called T-ZONES and the acccount needs to have a check mark next to it. if it doesnt highlight it and press activate.
if there is not an account the coresponds to your carrier then the settings do not exist in your phone and you must call your service provider where they can push an install of the settings into your device. make sure you mention that its a LG970 as the settings will differ between models slightly.
if your service provider says that they do not have settings for your device then you must ask for
these things:proxy address
proxy port #
username
password
APN
MMCS url
MMCS proxy
these are all things that could be ushed straight to your device.
there are three places on the shine that require settings.
i will list the three locations below in the following order; Network Profile, browser acct settings, mms settings
FROM THE DESKTOP ~menu> settings> connection> network profiles
menu> media net> browser settings> acccounts
menu> messaging> message settings> multimedia message> message center
(here you will select your coresponding network from above: settings can be manually adjusted)
