Hi, The legs on the stand should have leveling pads on it. at the bottom of each stand legs, there is a hole which the pad goes in. you can adjust the pad by unloosening the top nut. put a level on the saw base and adjust the pad up or down to level your stand.

HOW DO YOU UNLOCK THE ARM ON A DELTA MITER SAW 36-075, IT IS NOT A STAND BUT THE ARM ITSELF?

Here is a link to an exploded parts diagram and instruction manual for that saw.
Normally, all that is required is that you unscrew the handle and turn the table, then lock the handle in the desired position. But as with many older saws, the table may become jammed with dust and foreign objects and need to be cleaned and lubricated in order to work properly.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.

HOW TO RELEASE DELTA MITER 250 SAW

All miter saws I've dealt with, there is some sort of peg located on the back arm close to the hinge. However, the arm is spring loaded so you may need to press down on the front of the miter saw to relieve pressure on the pin (peg) to allow you to pull the pin out and release the saw arm. I hope this is the answer you are looking for.
