Question about Watches
My Pulsar V145 watch keeps good time in dull ambient light but when I go outside it can gain 15 minutes in a few hours, that is it always speeds up in bright light. Looking forward to hearing the diagnosis of this oddity. Cheers Rob

I have the same watch and the same problem. The solar battery is depleted. You need to recharge the watch like you did when it was new. The instructions can be found through the following link: www.pulsarwatches.com.au/manuals_pdf/108_1.pdf

I have a similar solar modle Ive had since 1995 , about 4 years ago it started loosing time and the second hand started double ticking. I sat it down out side on a cool summer day for the hole day in the bright sun and never have had a problem since. knock on wood! It was also runover by a car last year and still works good. I wont ever get ride of it. Hopefully this helps u guys out

Here is the link from pulsar for instruction manuals, they are one of the hardest manufacturers to find instructions for. They even say on the Pulsar website where I found these that they do not provide them for consumers.. :) The caseback of your watch should have a caliber movement on it, perhaps it is the number you mentioned and the website lists the manual by these numbers. Good luck and I hope that helps.

The larger second hand on the Pulsar PF8036 is part of the stopwatch feature. The upper button starts/stops the stopwatch feature, and the lower button operates the lap/reset function. Why they made the larger hand work only with the stopwatch instead of the smaller hand to the left is beyond me, but that's how it is designed.

SOURCE: Need instructions on how to
Some of these can be quite a bugger to set, there are so many variates of Pulsar watches, and I'm not able to locate exact instructions for that model. However if you call Pulsar with that model number they will gladly provide a free manual for you, one you can probably even download and view, or they can email it to you directly. Please call Pulsar at 1-201-529-5730 and request the instructions.
