Same problem - no valid disc - player is 5 months old and toshiba wants me to pay shipping because service centers don't want to work on small electronics. Also I'll have to pay $59 for repair. any help would be appreciated...

SAME PROBLEM !!!! THIS UNIT SUCKS, used for less than 15 hours, now "no valid disk" error message and toshiba wants $114 to allegedly fix it, and fix comes with.....YOU GUESSED IT !!! As far as I know the PocketPC 2002 OS is OEM and licenced Software, so I think you have to pay for it!
I have bought the Bluetooth Option Part for my e400. It was an "PC Bluetooth SD Card2".
In the specs of the Bluetooth Card is an SD/IO enabled SD Slot required for the Card.
So I think your Wifi will also work.
I use an e830 with a Holux GR230 without having any problems. The e830 uses already the latest stack from Toshiba so no need to upgrade. For the e800, hm depends on what kind of BT SD card you use, meanwhile Toshiba sells the BT SD3 card. Anyway, I would recommend to use the latest BT stack from Toshiba for your Toshiba BT SD card.
I don't know much about italian warranty conditions bt in Germay you can ask to change the PDA after it is repaired three times without success!
I think it is the best to contact Toshiba Italy directly and tell them your story and ask what to do!
