Inside light on garage door opener blinks twice when remote contr

When remote control is used.  Hardwired controls work fine.  Hidden security password opener  works fine, too.

    Hi there, What type of make and model do you own? In most cases these are indications of problems. If it is only the remote control that causes this situation and the garage door it self works properly with keypad and hard wire then it could simply be an indication of low battery on your remote.

    I had the same problem.... The lock button has been pressed. To unlock, press and hold to clear it and everything will work fine.

There are several good water proofing materials that are designed to stop it..go to one of your local hardware sties I use ACE they will guide you in the right direction..also a friend of mine had that problem and had an insulating foam spay applied on his..it stopped the leaks in its tracks and warmed up the basement to boot..check with the hardware they may be able to help in that area too.Good luck
