SOURCE: The pool buster won't run at all.

I had the same problem when I started to use mine at the beginning of the pool season here. If yours is anything like mine when I opened it up I found the motor was completely rusted and the drive gears would not turn. I'm not sure if the batteries are dead as there was a lot of corrosion on the charging terminal. It is simple to open the case and then open up the motor/battery housing - just a LOT of screws!

The options seem to be buying a replacement battery and motor pack from Aquatech the makers and replacing the defective unit. I think the cost is around $130 but for that sort of money you can buy a new one on Ebay - depends if you have the Commercial Grade unit but I've seen that new on Ebay for $185ish too

If it is just the battery you might be able to buy a replacement battery alone from Aquatech but I haven't checked it yet - on thier site it shows only the whole motor and battery unit as a replacement. In theory it should be possible to get a set of batteries made up for a lot less than Aquatech probably charges - I saw one web posting where a guy had Interstate make him up the batteries for $28.

Frankly, the pool buster seems to have a lot if issues once it gets old (past the 1 year warranty) and the battery charger had a lot to do with the issues as it would overcharge. From my research it seems a common problem that water can enter the unit if the seals on the screw in starter fail. BTW the unit is now called the Pool Blaster but to all intents and purposes seems like the same model but with a different catch on the front holding the plastic cup to the body

Hope this helps

My maintenance light is still on even though i have changed my engine at 60,000 mileage, what could be the problem and how can i make it stop (toyota corolla 06)

To reset Maintenance light, do the following procedure:

  1. Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
  2. Ensure odometer reading is shown. Turn ignition off.
  3. While holding down the trip meter reset knob turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
  4. Hold down knob for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates "000000" and the light goes off. If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing.
  5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Won't stop filling with water

Does the water continue to run when the washer is unplugged from power?  If it does, then there is something stuck in the inlet valve that is keeping it open.  Could be the result of mineral deposits.  If the water stops when unplugged then the water limit switch is defective.  Unlikely since the water still flows when control knob is in off position.

DOMETIC RM 7651l HAVE POWER AND GAS TO THE FRIDGE BUT WONT START (TWO MONTHS OLD)

Igniting a Dometic gas fridge
    Electronic Ignition
    1. Open gas cylinder or pressure regulating valve
    2. Turn on Electronic ignitor switch
    3. Turn gas control knob to the MAX position, press and hold down
    4. After ignition, hold down knob for a further 15 seconds before releasing. The neon light will stop flashing
    Piezo Ignition
    1. Open gas cylinder or pressure regulating valve
    2. Turn gas control knob to the MAX position, press and hold down
    3. After approximately 10-15 seconds
press Piezo knob several times until pilot light a lit
    4. After ignition, hold down knob for a further 15 seconds before releasing
  1. Check the Pilot light is alight
  2. The flame can be controlled by aperture ©
Should no ignition occur, repeat the ignition process after 1 minute
(This could take longer than 10 seconds if the unit has been out of operation for a prolonged period or after replacing the gas cylinder. (Cause: air in the lines)
  3. Once sufficient refrigeration has been obtained in the cooling tank at the MAX position, the control knob should be turned to the MIN position by low outside temperatures or when the refrigerator is only lightly loaded respectively the ambient temperature is below +18c in order to avoid over freezing the contents.
I hope this helps you...

Regards
