Change an upper v belt on cox jackaroo ride on

Not to find any online IPL that I can access from here in the USA so I have no idea of how the drive belt is routed.

If it has an electric PTO clutch then you need to remove it so you can drop the engine pulley down to get belt off and on as the upper belt retainers will prevent you doing so if not done. If just a double stack pulley you will probably still need remove the retaining bolt so you drop the pulley as above.

How to replace drive belt on sears 247.28904

If you have an Owner's Manual,it will inform you,in the Manual how to go about removing and replacing a tractor drive belt. There is a decal under the left or right foot board, informing the operator how to install the belt correctly. This is a long belt.that runs from the pulley on the Transaxle to the upper pulley on the bottom of the motor. This could be a hard repair to do,if the mower deck is installed. I have removed and replaced this belt,by lowering the mower deck all the way down. I would recommend, that you remove the deck, much easier.to replace the drive belt. This is also is in the Owner's Manual.under," How to remove the mower deck". Hope this answer your question. Sincerely,Brad Locke DTD. 12/03/15

Mtd yardmachine 7 speed shift to go is my mower. it runs but want pull. does it have 2 belts or just the deck belt. the deck belt has more play than normal ..i think. as i was cutting the grass it stopped...

There are two belts, one for the deck and one for the main drive. The main drive belt can be seen on the upper pulley under the engine. Check to see if it has slipped or broken.

Airens 19 hp mower suddenly stopped moving and will not go back or forward. The belts all look attached although there seems to be 8 inches or so in slack. Mower runs fine.

You should have two belts. They are and upper and a lower belt. The lower drives the mower deck and the upper drives the transaxle. To reach the upper you have to lower the deck and reach up to the upper. With the brake/clutch not engaged the upper belt should not have slack in it. Check to see if the belt is broken or somehow has come off of the transaxle pulley. To get on the pulley you may have to remove the back panel of the frame to put back on. I hope this helps, if it does, please rate.

Craftsman 42 in. deck lawn tractor. Will start and idle fine but when you let out on the clutch the motor bogs down and dies

few reasons will try to narrow down first start it and put in neutral and deck disengaged release clutch if bogs then fuel problem the carb may need adjustment or repair or fuel filter needs replacement----if no bog step on clutch no put in gear release clutch if bogs check drive belt -upper belt on engine pulley and check for binding an idler pulley problem -debris -or rear unit binding -needs service-drive pulley damaged-rear locked--if not bogging in gear step on clutch engage deck release clutch if bogs need to check deck -belts-pulleys -mandrels -bearings and for bent or binding blades good luck

I have a Huskee Supreme Model # 13AX605H730. I have

According to MTD Parts Lookup:
The correct UPPER belt (referred to as the PTO belt and runs from engine to deck) is part # 754-04122 (Also available as 954-04122...in which only the packaging of the part makes the first digit of the part number change. The two belts are identical.)

The correct Description is:
[ Belt, V-Type, A x 90.24 ]

What that means in plain English is that this is a 1/2 inch wide V-Belt with an Industry Standard "A" cross sectional profile. The more important info would be that it's 90.24 inches long.

As for the "Deck Belt" (the lower belt that runs only from blade to blade to blade) it is listed as part #754-0349 or #954-0349 (again, identical belts, different packaging).

A very common problem we see in my shop is that the front pulley (the one directly attached to the engine) shows signs of separation at the weld and the grovve of the pulley becomes wider, therefore making the belt "act" like it's longer because it runs deeper in that groove.

Reply by using the "Add Comments" section if you need any futher info. I'd be glad to offer other possibilities for these symptoms you've described.

Hope this helps,
Dolf-
