Question about Acer Aspire One Netbook 8.9" Notebook

1 Answer

Requires many reboots

This machine appears to be very unstable. Sometmes it operates for hours without a problem, butoften it locks up every few minutes and requires a reboot. Sometimes I have to reboot it several times for it to come up with the wireless connection operating. Other times, it comes up, connects to the internet and successfully connects to Google.com before is locks up.

The screen gives directions to uninstall any new software that was installed. I did not install any software, still on the original configuration,
Have you noticed that Acer has no home page in the USA, and your product can not be registered.
Acer (Company) seems to have Pulled out of the US, and left us on our own to work out any problems or eat our losses because they have made a bundle, an do not care.

Sounds like a software related problem. Easiest approach would be to back up any valuable files and restore to original factory setup. You may need to purchase an external USB optical drive to reload the Operating System. If this does solve your issue then you may want to consult a local trusted pc repair shop so they can run hardware testing. Unless you have a warranty, with Acer you have a one year MFG. Warranty from the original purchase date.

How do you set the clock in a 1998 Yukon?

There are two procedures and it depends on whether your radio has the option of Auitomatic Tone Control. Here are both ways, with and without Auto tone Control.

Setting the Clock for Systems without

Automatic Tone Control

Press SET. Within five seconds, press and hold the

SEEK right arrow until the correct minute appears on

the display. Press and hold the SEEK left arrow until the
correct hour appears on the display.

Setting the Clock for Systems with

Automatic Tone Control

Press and hold HR until the correct hour appears on the

display. Press and hold MN until the correct minute

appears on the display. To display the clock with the

ignition off, press RECALL or HR/MN and the time

will be displayed for a few seconds. There is an initial

two-second delay before the clock goes into the
time-set mode.

How do you set the clock on a 2004 gmc ykon

According with the Owners Manual:

* Setting the Time for Radios without Radio Data Systems (RDS)
Press and hold the HR or MIN arrow for two seconds. Then press HR until the correct hour appears on the display. Press and hold MIN until the correct minute appears on the display. The time may be set with the ignition on or off.

* Setting the Time for Radios with Radio Data Systems (RDS)
Your radio may have a button marked with an H or HR to represent hours and an M or MN to represent minutes.
Press and hold the hour button until the correct hour appears on the display. Press and hold the minute button until the correct minute appears on the display. The time may be set with the ignition on or off.
To synchronize the time with an FM station broadcasting Radio Data System (RDS) information, press and hold the hour and minute buttons at the same time until RDS TIME appears on the display. To accept this time, press and hold the hour and minute buttons, at the same time, for another 2 seconds. If the time is not available from the station, NO UPDAT will appear on the display.

RDS time is broadcast once a minute. Once you have tuned to an RDS broadcast station, it may take a few minutes for your time to update.

Hope this helps.

Major humpng in spin cycle GE front load madel WPXH214AOWW

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France @ 20:46 Thur evening.

All washing machines, whether front or top loaders, must have all of their feet firmly on the floor to operate without rocking n' rolling and being unstable!

With the machine NOT running push one front corner firmly diagonally (tawards the centre) and if it moves it is THAT foot which requires adjusting downwards until it is really firmly- almost pushing- on the floor. If not that corner do the same with the other. Once the machine is REALLY stable ensure that the locking nuts lock the feet in position so that they will not unscrew and make the machine unstable yet again. Might take a little time but it is imperative, not only for good operation but it also saves damage to the drum supporting mechanism.

Good luck!

New Janome 6600 Erroring out

Hi,
This is the official Janome reference to your E% error message:
Feed sensor error "E 5" appears when the machine is turned backwords slightly while the machine runs over tight spot. The above will happen when - the machine is locked by thread jammed in the machine. - sewing extreamly thick fabric. In case of the MC4900, it will happen when running without threading the thread take up lever. The thread take up lever should be threaded when the threading light lights up.
Hioe this helps
