Briggs & Stratton Part Number 799876 replaces Champion plug RJ2YLE. For use in Quantum Series 625, 675, and 725 engines built after Date Code 110701xx. The gap for this spark plug should be set to .020". I have an old Craftsman lawn mower and just need to verify that I have the correct spark plug and what the gap should be.

You have not given any specs on what engine you have (Briggs? Tecumseh? Craftsman uses both on their machines), but most of the ones I fix use the same old standard Briggs spark plug, which is a Champion J19LM plug gapped at .030. (The Champion is not required, just the most common and you can cross-reference it to other brands. If you provide your engine make and model, then I can tell you exactly what to use.
